I too asked for and supported a richer clan structure, and have to agree that the prices are a bit rediculous and labels demeaning. Owner/Leader x1 Co-Owner/Co-Leader x1 War Commander x1 Recruitment Officer x2 Officers x5 Soldiers unlimited Additional slots for each position could then be purchased, by the owner, for an additional 50b per slot starting at 100b for the first slot purchased. Second slot would be 150b, third 200b etc. Sounds like a better label structure to me. -------------------- -------------------- So after I thought about it a bit, the best thing I could come up with to compromise the issue between players and devs is this: Clan Bank This feature would enable everyone in the clan to donate to buy said slots with in the clan instead of the burden resting in one player. Of course there would be a 10-25% tax (like war tax) for any gold donated to the clan bank. This would help offset the costs and make it a more reachable goal.
So i need 3 trillion for day 1 of I want 3 admins? I think clan owners should get at least that much gold to get there three admins (then split ) Also I agree that starter clans are done for. You should just roll the cost into creating a new clan.
But "unlimited" and "up to 99" are very different, by the very core definition of the word "unlimited"... lol
But yes Terra, I know you are right... a girl can hope and dream of owning that 100+ clan, right? Lol
Think of it this way: There is no maximum amount of peasants you can have, but the maximum amount of people in a clan is 100. So, while it is unlimited, the maximum people in a clan isn't.
This will make it hard for family clans that runs EBs based on events and needs. We have 4 total SUPER active clans in our family. This would make it awfully hard to float back and fourth based on the need to both the clan and the gamer!
As leader of 4 clan family I am opposed to this change. Few understand how much effort goes into keeping clans growing. Ive been at this 5 years. It has been overwhelming at times. Its only due to many terrific admin helpers that my clans have thrived. Demeaning titles aside, I need as much help as possible starting EB, kicking inactives as needed, recruiting and opening the door. Owners and clans will be hurt with these changes.
Definitely I would not choose a "chargehand". Activity checks are so stressful and you would have to coordinate with the recruiter and knight I mean knight - the player would be so popular like hansel. "Any knight please wall me if you're doing this eb?."
