It seems like this poorly thought out idea was more about muting clan members and controlling cc then anything else. If you are in a clan where that is a problem....Find a new clan or you know, kick people? How is that a major concern? Don't think I've ever felt the need outside of the warring days to mute a clan member. The only way I will use the mute button now is when I say "silence peasant" as a joke. Which will be fun... But come on now.
Once a position is paid for, and then someone leaves said position will we have to pay the fee again?
Nope. If you paid to unlock a slot, you just have to reassign them free of charge. Unlocking a slot is a one-time fee.
No, they will be permanently unlocked for clan. New roles will have to re-assign the rank, when you join back.
Check out the handy table in the OP. The top 4 roles have the ability to manage member roles (but of course cannot change the roles of other members of the same or higher class)
Time to sell up, really don't see the benefits to this update. Particularly for smaller clans. it's becoming clear you're enabling a one giant alliance scenario.
Thank you Developers! Finally a new upcoming clan structure! I agree that it does make clan management far easier than just the three normal Owner, Admin, Member positions! With a starting Warlord, War Chief and Commander the owner of the new clans can appoint new roles spread out to new and existing members according to their discretion! As long as the starting War Chief/Commander is highly active, members wouldn't need to worry about that particular clan's management for the first few days! Quoting what Kaw_admin says in Page 5, which tells me the new slots are of one-time payment! I love this system in such a way that members don't have to pay it more than once, if in an existing clan! I believe in the future that there would be fewer clan management problems arising compared to the current old clan system!
Not too sure about that. As small clans increase in size and complete larger battles they can purchase larger roles as they grow as a collective. Kaw is a growing game; ideally a new clan would start with small players and grow to massive, and another small clan would start with other new players and so on. Rather than clans that stick to one eb tier. Clearly it isn't quite like that.
Then you can just inform one clan member a higher rank than that power tripping admin to sort out the case. It shouldn't be too difficult, should it? How is it worse when you can finally have an easier clan management? Though, the only problem I see is that it affects new, weaker clans negatively in such a way that members won't usually have enough gold to unlock the slots. Or maybe if you're lucky, be in a clan where the higher ranks will treat you more than just a peasant when your title is a peasant! Ding, discussion allowed! Share the top ranks your clan experience and the high ranks will listen and note it!
