Upcoming Epic Battles and Tier 5 Buildings

  1. @eternal
Are you ******* crazy? This idea is so stupid I almost punched you through the screen. That only favors players with actual money, kaw should not be about rl (for the top players it is) For the average joe like me I would not be able to keep up.

  2. Everyone has some valid points.

I honestly think this is a cash grab announcement. Either that or this company and it's developers are the biggest morons. It is 10x more expensive to attract new accounts then it is to retain old accounts. I would like to logically assume that the top 5000 players (whom all I believe to be HLBC) in kaw are the accounts that buys more then all of the rest of kaw combined in xstal or items of nobility points, etc. So T5 are basically for those to spend more money and make sure they are with the top LB players. If KAW really had an interest in making this a long term game. Why wouldn't they develop new players. you think a new player wants to spend 2.5-3 yrs to hlbc and probably by that time there's a T6?

T5 will make a lot of players quit especially those who are so close to HLBC or half way their. There has only been 29 clans that have completed Terrian Travails. All of them having the requirement of HLBC to join EB. With the 2 new Ebs rolling out I don't assume they will get any easier. So that means players who are not yet HLBC will keep falling more behind especially on items.

Why on earth would you even announce this in the middle of summer war? Facekillah had a great point. If you were going to kill the game at least do it in phrases. You make the announcement the last week of summer wars so that when playoffs are over the new eb and t5 can roll out. Marketing 101.

I know it seems im hating on the HLBC players But I honestly have a respect for them and they put their time in. But the fact is not everyone have the time to spend on a push game.

Off topic summer war is a joke anyways. Look at zaft destiny with so many top players. What's the point?

  3. Further, if the upgrade fails and your building is reverted to a level one stable, you get charged 25k gold for the building.

  4. What are you smoking eternalsolice?

  5. Haha this has truely killed the game for findin new players. Back in my days i was so actively telling me friends to play this game, now when they start playing, the first this i do is to tell them to quit haha, no point playing 1year, now with t5 mayne even more, just to get a stat which can war comfortably lol

  6. Lol. If devs gave me 20% of their income, I'd have come up with that.. But the devs are selfish and wouldn't do that for anyone. So forget that idea.

  7. This time please don't mess up the spy plunder like you did with the SOS... I'm definabtly not for t5 at all. You guys added t4 because the game wasn't interesting and all that well now your adding it the gap will be so great if you haven't noticed... Nobody doesn't half the ebs you guys made. Half the time I don't want items because I know in 1 month they will get replaced with a bigger and badger item... You guys had it made when only t3 was out... Went downhill from there

  8. So true GN0r. A year and a half ago. I told my friend to play this game. He played it.. He loved it.. Then he got addicted and quit before he got to the point to where he can't quit. But about a month or two ago I told my other friend to join. After a week of playing, he was still super small and he thought it was the most stupid game ever. So you see devs, your game has gone from new players loving the game, to new players hating the game.. Someday wen everyone currently playing quits, there will be no one to give you the cash that you so desperately desire.. T5's are just a start.. You will see how it won't benefit anyone.. If only you gave enough of a **** to read our comments...

  9. When most people start this game they just get volleyed and skip teir 1 and 2, and start to move on to teir 3. When teir five comes out ally prices are gonna be stupidly high.

  10. @eternalsolace
**** u and ur ideas, go be a dickhead somewhere else u inconsiderate moron

  11. Ummm... i don't know y u guys are complaining..u complain that ur not at T4...what's gonna happen when u are? The game will get boring bcuz u have nothing more to achieve... getting there is half the fun, the other half is the journey.. I'm VERY EXCITED!!!

  12. It was said my suggestion for T5's was inconsiderate. Those statements are correct. I was completely inconsiderate.

Therefore,I suggest that T5's only be purchased thought the Oracle at $9.99 USD per building. To upgrade a T5 to level two, 20 xstals must be used. To upgrade the T5 to level three, 40 xstals.

Also, there should be a 70% chance for the upgrade to fail and revert back to a level one stable and the kingdom is charged the stable price of 25k gold.

  13. Obvious troll is obvious

  14. @Eternal Solace
U r horrible, u just want to make others suffer huh? Somone bann him from forums

  15. LOL Solance great wit. Prolly get farmed if they follow any of you ideas but hey made me laugh

  16. While I think devs set us up to make money, the timing sucks of this announcement/rollout, they were kinda short sided with how rolling all these updates out at once would affect each other, and people will still get disheartened and quit (all typical dev/update stuff)...there is still good and potential to this one:

    1. When highlands were introduced the land prices seemed incredibly unbalanced compared to the plunder generated by T4 buildings. Many of us thought T4 plunder should have been increased to make it less painful to buy those last lands.

If devs hold constant to the past, T5 buildings should generate higher plunder, actually making it easier (in theory) for newer players who do not actively ally trade or buy nobility to HLBC...we saw this was the case in many strategies to HLBC with T4, the plunder generated by your buildings on that land to grow became key and at a certain point in your journey to HLBC it made sense to switch from those sweet plunder generating guilds to T4 attack buildings.

So from this stand point, I believe we need to wait and see what kind of plunder potential T5 buildings may bring to the table before we say the prices/stats are going to significantly set back the non HLBC population. Please note: Im not saying that these buildings won't be crazy expensive at first glance, I'm saying their rewards might be worth it.

    2. Rifts and ease of BCing is not due to experience or activity level, it's due to those who are willing to spend money on the game vs. those who are less willing/able. If the devs can control themselves, and not bump up that nobility exchange rate outrageously like they did with T4, there is a chance that the rift will at minimum remain the same....the key is not to discourage spending but discourage inflating gold.

Those "buyers" are still "buying" right now and putting that gold into allies and significantly increasing the wealth they have and their stats through bfa. A majority of these players ally trade like maniacs, why wouldn't you want them to have to slow down on the gold they make in trading by having to put it in buildings? The less gold they have in allies the less they have to trade with and grow their net worth/bfas.

    3. If the devs actually go a step further in thinking of the player base's well being and limited tolerance for drastic change, they will consider rolling out t5 in stages, i.e. only available on 1/2 the map at first, as has been suggested here. This would continue to pull some of that gold out of the system from when they inflated the market with their t4 and updates, but doesn't let those big players from point #2 jump too far ahead by making additional plunder per t5 building from point #1.

    4. There is nothing wrong with not being HLBC lol We do not put a scarlet letter on you because you are not HLBC. Cherish those growing months to learn about game mechs, ally trading, and war. Like parents tell you enjoy your kaw youth while you have it, you won't get it back.

The more gold you acquire with your nice big shiny stats, the less you are going to want to risk all that hard work in osw and much scarier you won't know how to war/defend yourself should u step on the wrong toes. Just some friendly advice, learning how to war when you have less to lose really does pay off better in the long run.

    5. Ebs...yes ebs are getting stronger, items are getting stronger etc. clans have these HLBC reqs for several reasons, #1 if you have been active enough to grow into your bc stats you are hopefully active enough to meet the kind of activity level required to kill these harder ebs and #2 you are big enough to do the amount of damage you need to kill these harder ebs. It is no fun failing any eb, active players on roster who can do significant damage to those irritating regening ebs is required.

For those of you who are HLBC, T5 stats should hopefully help us kill those new irritating regening ebs, this is a good thing for any clan owners running them...will help keep y'alls blood pressure down...ik it will mine lol

    6. Another "pro" for all you vets with resets, bigger stats not only means higher bonuses from % eb items, but also a boost to your stats through your reset bonuses :)

    7. So yes, depending on timing, it's gonna help kill the tourney quicker, but as I said over a month ago...this thing was destined to fail anyway without serious changes to system war mechs. Auto join killed 1 spy vs many but didnt kill turtle wars (no one enjoys fighting these...even the winners).

My opinion is to let T5 give final blow to the tourney as I feel there is still just a lot the devs need to think through to make it an ongoing success. This gives us some time to enjoy searching for and enchanting items, and focus on T5, and let the devs take a hard look at what's wrong with it and why clans have already lost interest with it 3 weeks in.

    8. Osws, may slow down in the short term, as in any other growth phase in kaw, but won't die from this in the long run. Osws are not started for the "fun" of it. Someone pisses someone else off probably cuz they bced too quickly or didn't learn fundamentals in their growth stages...and bam you have OSWs.

Not to mention people will probably have a ton out working on upgrades, and those little mischief makers who still like hitting off bl r gonna probably piss A LOT off lol

Lastly, to those saying this isn't the "old kaw" b/c of a new focus on ebs...we have ALWAYS looked for easy ways to make gold, whether from osfs, inactives lists, pws and now ebs....easy gold is how we fund wars, a necessary evil.

We have, historically as a community in general (not all of us), not liked being hit...the 5 hit courtesy came out before I started...and within a few months of my starting, retaliation became more "severe" for even 5 and under hits...so guys enough of this the war is leaving kaw crap b/c of ebs. The same clans warring back then still war now, some actually seem to get in more osws per year.

As Belle said, we have both PVP and PVE options now, if you guys are upset with less PVP on an individual basis...we have no one to blame but ourselves we drove devs to find a way to let us mindlessly hit things that didn't hit back. NO clan old school or not, can claim ebs is not a helluva lot easier to grow members then having to do it ourselves through past means.

Anyway, just thought I'd throw those points out there, it's too soon I think to jump to this is a "bad" or "unnecessary" update already. Once we know details then we can do that ;)

  17. In order for smaller players to
'catch up' to those whom have put years into the game, I suggest an option in the Oracle that automatically gives the kingdom T5L3 HLBC. This option will cost $149.99 USD.

However, the upgrade has a 55% chance to fail and will only LLBC with L3 stables.
