Understand this!

  1. Good read...about time I read something halfway intelligent on forums. The whiners make me want quit more than anything else in this game

  2. I don't understand why everyone needs these P2P Ebs while Warbeasts increased 50% 

  3. Okay I get what you're trying to say with that quote, but it commits a couple logical fallacies. Because of those fallacies I'm not entirely sure I can the main point of the quote seriously.

I'd like to note that it attempts to claim that any game would fall flat without some way for money to provide a boost. Which is just completely not true. There is an uncountable number of competitive games that do not offer a competitive edge for money. Most competitive games actually provide cosmetic effects for money.

However it's the companies choice add any kind of paid for service into a game. We, on the outside, have almost little to no say in the matter, nor should we. KaW is not our child, it's not our labor of love, it's not something that we slaved thousands of hours of coding on. For most of us it's just a game we downloaded on the AppStore to have some fun while we commute to and from work/school. Some people like to claim they know what's best for the game but really they know very little. All in all our opinions, as players, are not essential to the development of the game.

In fact, from what I have witnessed, when a game developer takes advice directly from the userbase then the overall game experience degrades as a whole. It's their labor and their creation; therefor the responsibility of the game lies solely with them. As it should be. Does that mean we should not speak out when we see something that could be done better? No, but we shouldn't give our opinions as facts/demands. We know very little about how the underlying system of the game works. This means that we are severely lacking in any information that would allow us to make proper arguments for game improvements.

Finally remember that only a very small number of players are vocal on the forums, I would guess that only 2~3% of the people in the game pay attention to the forums in any way.

  4. While other games wouldn't fall flat if spending money gave only a cosmetic effect, it is the spending of money that keeps any game going even after 6 years! Which is huge in app years and on KaW the only reason I'd spend money, is if I could grow faster/make more gold.

I agree that most of us do not have the knowledge/experience to know what's best for the game.
Which is what is frustrating, seeing the whingers and haters. There's a complain culture amongst the forums, no matter what the devs do its never good enough!
    New event, people whine.
    No event, people want more.

I see outlandish requests and ideas, half of which don't consider how it affects the game balance.
Kaw_admin actually addressed posts on the new event thread, which is a good sign!

  5. I dislike the new ebs. However, i'd also like to say that I don't blame the devs for it. After all, if we as a community didn't spend money on stuff like this there wouldn't be a problem.

  6. The new epic battles aren't a "problem".

It offered a new mechanism, where players could chip in to open the EB.

There was a lot of clans doing b2b ZTA in that short period. Ergo, there is a demand. ATA supplies it.

Meh, I guess people aren't people if they are not bellyaching about something.

  7. See, thats just it. People like different things. I simply don't like the new ebs because I wish they used that time to create better gear for ee. So while it may not be a problem in your opinion, it is in mine.

Even if it isn't a problem to those many clans, it might be for me. Although, as you can probably tell i'm not super angry about it like some people. :)

  8. True, I don't particularly favour ZTA. I rather we have other changes.
Our war system is in the ditch amongst other things that can be improved, but here's to hoping it happens.
People need to understand that everyone has a different playing style, some like to EB while some might like to PvP. Some enjoy chasing events!

A difference in opinion or playing preference doesn't warrant the game to be changed according to what suits one's playing style best. The devs look to keep balance while releasing any updates/events.

  9. I complain about zta and hte alot. But as a paying customer i have a right to voice my opinion. Devs dont have to listen but it is good for them to see feedback regardless if they respond to it or not publicly.

I support this game. I bought all the propacks and buy alot of war xtals. But i will never ever buy nobs for seals for ebs. Still think they should be removed from the game.

  10. As I see it I've have been playing for two years and if people cry too much about hte clans or hte let them I love this game I've meet a lot of cool people in here so it doesn't bother me if I'm not a top player it's a game for crying out loud just play it thanks 

  11. I've never seen anyone comment that they want everything to be completely free in KaW. Everyone chooses to play however they please, whether it's free to play ebs or pay to play. We all have our own game styles. I've always said from the beginning that HTE has cause inflation, lack of clan loyalty and the constant promos - but we can't completely blame the devs for that. They are a business and they need to make a profit. They put out a 'product', the COMMUNITY bought into it. HTE stayed because of the amount of seals bought in the beginning, promos continue cause of how many of us participate. We can't ignore the fact that they are a business. But in saying that, I feel that not enough is being changed in KaW or adjusted - we're seeing the same things over and over again. Promos are all good and well - but make it different. Add spy quests or adjust EE or fix clan structure or implement daily rewards. I think the community feels they are not being listened to and instead we're just getting event after event. I see constant complaints in forums every day - but I also see many idea's being put forward to (Check out Killzone's thread). Perhaps more discussion from the devs and more input with what they're working on in KaW will put the KaWmunity at ease. At the moment all I see are events. I'd just like to see something different.

  12. This was a good read
    Thank you for sharing OP

  13. I agree with OP 100%. When I look at the countless hours that I have spent in this game in exchange for the money I spent on this game. It is an entertainment super bargain. 2 years I have spent about 15 USD a month on average, that's over 4 accounts. I couldn't even take the wife and I to a movie for that.

In short, quit your itching and have fun, it's a social network masquerading as a game. Take it for what it's worth, like everything in life, you get out of it what you put into it.

Thanks Devs, for again for giving out more free stuff this event.

  14. Bump this ! It's nighttime somewhere and this is truly the cure to insomnia bravo to the OP for being one of if not the most boring person in the world. I'm going to sleep well tonight !

  15. Free = No KaW

    Issue settled?
