It's because the developers said they weren't going to reduce prices and are going to. If the thread disappeared, no one could quote them and call them liars. It's obvious

New lands don't mean an automatic price cut to the previous tier. HF themselves haven't even existed for 2 years.

That being said, I believe It won't happen for at least another year. That's just my educational guess. It's too soon for a price cut.

If your worried about losing gold upgrading on HF, simply focus on abyss. In the long run, it's the best option. Inevitably, T6 will be price cut - but i feel it won't be for a long time.

How many times have the devs cut prices on lands/buildings? How many times did they announce they would do it before hand? I am not certain about this, but I'm pretty sure the answer to the second question is zero.
