A jousting tourney, or joust a plaisance has been called and all nearby kingdoms have been invited to participate! Issue your challenges to your fellow nobles, take up your lance, and mount your stoutest steed as you head to the jousting lists to compete for honor, fame, and valuable rewards! Let the tournament begin! Accessing the Event Page This is our first event to make use of the brand new Event Page feature. As such this will be a shorter event aimed at testing this feature at scale with all of you amazing players. To access the event page tap the Chest icon located on the top right of the game on IOS and Android. You can also access the event page on PC by tapping on the Event Name located in the new Events section on the right hand side (located just above Friends). PvP Balance Experiment In addition to this being a stress test on the Event Page system, we're going to be experimenting with a new form of PvP balance that factors both Equipment and Potions into the calculations used for both Plunder and Hunt Item Generation. This PvP balance experiment will ONLY be active for players opting-in to this event and will last until the end of the event. Because of this experiment wars will be on hold until Saturday May 23rd, 2015. Opting In To Opt-In to the event, players will need to cast the Cry the Tournament spell at the Alchemist. Warning: Opting-in lasts for the ENTIRE DURATION of the event and there will be no way to opt-out after doing so. Opted in players will: Have their name colored orange to indicate their participation Have a spell indicating their participation on their profile Have their Battle List updated to show only players who have opted-in Participate in our PvP Balance Experiment (see above section) Tally Roses Once opted-in, players will earn Tally Rose items by attacking other opted-in players. These items are both generated AND ARE STOLEN. The number generated depends on the players size. The number stolen depends on the amount of Tally Roses they currently have. The higher the number they have the more you'll steal. Victory Garlands While Tally Roses can be stolen, when you collect 1,000 of them they'll automatically combine to create a Victory Garland. Victory Garlands CANNOT BE STOLEN and are what is ultimately used to receive your rewards at the end of the event. This means that while players can steal your Tally Roses, once you've collected 1,000 they're converted to a Victory Garland which protects them from being stolen. Lance of Fame When you hit another opted-in player there's a chance that the Lance of Fame spell is activated. This spell lasts for 24 hours, and has the following properties: Provides you with more plunder when attacking or stealing from opted-in players Allows you to obtain more Tally Rose items when attacking or stealing from opted-in players Provides you with a chance of creating Mithril out of thin air when attacking or stealing from opted-in players Will be visible on your profile as an active spell CAN BE STOLEN when you are attacked or stolen from by opted-in players. If stolen you will lose the spell, and the attacking player will receive it. Duration is not reset when stolen but continues to count down from where it was for the previous owner. Note: You cannot steal another player's Lance of Fame spell when you have an active Lance of Fame spell yourself. Cavalier Charm Cavalier Charm may be purchased in the Marketplace for 59 Nobility Points and casts the Shield of Favor spell on ALL of your current clan members. If you already have an Shield of Favor active you will not be able to purchase it until the current spell expires. This spell lasts for 1 hour and has the following properties: Provides you with more plunder when attacking or stealing from opted-in players (This is able to stack with the Lance of Fame spell) Allows you to earn more Tally Rose items when attacking or stealing from opted-in players (This is able to stack with the Lance of Fame spell) Prevents other players from being able to steal your Lance of Fame spell while Shield of Favour is active Will be visible on your profile as an active spell Rewards + Leaderboards Please see the event page in-game to view event rewards and leaderboards. Rewards will be made available for you to collect through the events page shortly after the event ends.
If we need to war or lose EE -will this be extended ?? I plan when I war based on how long I have left on EE. This event is right when I have to renew
That's correct. The PvP Changes we're testing may cause some strange things in wars so we've disabled them until the end of the day Friday. Because this is a shorter event that is testing things out there's no equipment rewards right now. We'll be refreshing everyone's Estoc's Edge in the next little bit so that everyone will have 2 weeks from today's date to refresh EE again.
