My theory is the drop is like the quest nobility drops. A really low percentage chance for a drop every hit maybe .1%?
My theory is that it is ********. I shouldn't have to waste weeks on boring ebs to get an item - what rubbish
I'd just buy the damn sword if I could. I got lucky n got the other two relatively fast. But that sword eludes me.
In CPU programming it is very easy to generate a random number, far far easier than putting a list of other variables together to obtain an outcome. I very much doubt the use of pots etc would influence the randomness. Otherwise we would all be trying to break the codes in online casinos lol
I'm surprised no one has yet pointed out the fact that kaw came on in wc one day during a server outage and specifically stated that "it's not completely random." Am I the only one who was on when this happened?
Of course, G. Thank you for pointing that out. How could I forget that I am the master of all noobs?
@Belle, I wouldn't mind making a spreadsheet of possible ideas to track what works and what doesn't (if you haven't already done so yourself). All ideas will be considered and possibly tried. Using a systematic approach and checking things off seems like the most logical approach, as you've already begun doing. Ideally, we could try to create a pool of clans to participate and have each clan test a different set of theories. I've seen that you've started testing a few things. If you wanna tell me what you've done so far, I'll create the spreadsheet. Using the scientific method, I think, will be the most effective way to figure this out. I've already talked to JammyJamJam about what I think it might be. Or maybe you could clean this thread out and leave only theories and results. This might make the thread more useful.
I've read around 20 threads on Forums about people saying when they got treasure and items and I think that the highest success rate gets treasure and items Eg: If 100% Success (so Fail No attacks) then you get items if any. Just a theory though
@vinnie : it's wrong, i've been a guest in Immortal Taka for ~20 FoDs, i've used spells daily ( 6 mith att spell guarantees u no miss) and nothing
okay.... this is what you all need to do.... battle logs... you can't copy and paste them... you have to do it one at a time... find a way to screen shot the battle logs from pc and then use adobe to convert the file so that it can be edited.... then plug all of the battle data into an excel spreadsheet. This spreadsheet should focus on the persons who received items/treasures in each of the epic battles... then you can note the area in which all persons who received items hit (if there is a certain stage or area that drops the item at a higher rate) then you include the number of successful actions by persons who receive items, the number of failed actions, etc etc etc.... I am not good with adobe or excel and I don't have a screen snapper on my pc... so I can't do this.... but if someone wants to, this will give you the data required to actually determine if item drops are random. Ex: choose ten cod's.... get the battle history from all ten, weed out all of the excess info (basically, all of the other people's actions)- but be sure to separate each into stages. Then you can even make a lovely little graph. I don't want to do this. This is a lot of work. And I really am busy with other stuff.... So.... Have at it whoever has the guts to take on this project and just give me the credit in the end
