I would guess a good place to start is with the ppl who won the perm items. Ask them questions like when they joined, what actions they did, how active they were during the EB, did they only atk/ass/item, etc... That might produce a baseline to start with. Just a suggestion Ge-Edderd Ge-Force
I think time has something to do with it as well seems the quicker you complete the eb the more chance you have of getting the item drops. Just a theory
I haven't done many of these epics so I have little or even nothing to go by but I have a strange feeling that it might be based upon effectiveness/ efficiency of someones hits compared to build, spells used, pots etc. But it's a wild guess, so yea, you can ignore this if it's wrong.
Time isn't a really big factor in item drops. We do city in about 4-5 hours daily. And we did one in 44 mins that only dropped 1. Seems like time isn't a big deciding factor in item drops. At least not that I can see.
I won this on my alt , totally randomlishy. First time doing . and got the item. i didnt even realise.
I think the amount dropped may be related to number of active players in the eb. More then the time taken.
Ok. Then time probably doesn't matter. If it is an algorithm, it's a pretty damn well thought out one lol.
Yes devs put some effort into making the drops as random as possible. With out seeing there item drop program. We may never have a good idea what triggers it.
Maybe because your build isn't A's effective/efficient as that of a hansel hybrid... Therefore the most effective/efficient active players get the items, eventhough they didn't hit much... ?
The best way to test it would have one person do about 1000-2000 and everyone else do 1-10 if you managed to complete that do it 20-30 times that would test the lottery theory.
Hey belle, I'd like for you to try having a "group" for each phase of CoD (make sure you have enough active people to get through each phase). For example: Group 1 are only to hit in phase 1. Another group in Phase 2 and so on. I could go into details if need be. If so, please follow.
Okay. We determined so far that number of active members and faster times does not effect item drop (in destroyer). As for one person doing a large portion of the hits, that would be great except you are limited to 6 xtals per eb and you need quite a bit more to finish cod
