Besides Innocence and When the sun sets, no, not really. I do have a few older poems I havnt posted if anyone wants to read them, though, They're not as good as the newer ones.
Preview of chapter 5 There must have been one hundred steps leading up to the beautiful castle that was about to become my prison. I'd probably never go home and no one would know where I was, my mind wondered as we walked up the hundred steps. Where were the other boy and girl? Had they been found too? What was going to happen to me? I made a last attempt to escape. Struggling and kicking and screaming, I knew I was going to die if he led me in to the castle.
This is about a year old. It was one of my personal favorites back then. Fallen I'll forgive and I'll forget And when it rains, I will get wet. But I had fallen, and was not caught, I don't remember what I forgot Everything that I had learned Lost it's place when I was burned But that's okay, I'll start anew And I will always look for you But should I ever fall again I know you'll catch me in the end Because i put my trust in you Look at me and know it's true. The darkness fades in hoped new light And there's no need to hold on tight But I ask you, don't let me go Just love me now, and let me know.
Hmm...I find that school limits my creativity. Maybe since it's not an assignment, there's a lot more freedom, so you can make your story, yours. I remember last year my English teacher put all these requirements on a poem, so it wasn't my best one.
I hate it when there are restrictions, especially for the whole class. It make the whole assignment boring.
