Psst, I've slept less than four hours in the past 36.

Para is having chronic nose bleeds from staying up until 2 o'clock at a bare minimum every night for the past 10 days.

 

5-6 hours of sleep for school doesn't do good for you. I hate you Ender, for you keep me up.

I start school in 15 hours and I'm just sitting here KaWing.

 

So my father has only just decided to tell me after two months that he's been working with a computer with 100GB of RAM and 16 processors.

2 MONTHS MY FATHER HAS BEEN USING PROBABLY THE MOST POWERFUL COMPUTER IN A 5 MILE RADIUS OF HIS WORK PLACE AND HE CHOSE ONLY NOW TO TELL ME.

OMG. That's awesome. How much did it cost? (And how does a computer case hold that much?????)

 

He doesn't actually know because his workplace bought it to convert 100s of GB of data quickly.

How a computer holds it is by being a non standard 'computer' and just racks of microchips and technology stuffs.

Pretty much, it's just something you send data to convert.

No monitor, no graphics because that'd slow it down, just green plastic and metal.

 

That's not a gaming comp then.
Add a graphics card and monitor, and it'll be awesome.

 

The problem with doing that is you already compromise processing power and RAM to do basic things like display.

Really in it's current state of power, the best thing to do with it is convert data and do calculations.

 

Waste of space. I could use that ****. :shock:

 

It would be pointless having that much RAM, you'd never use it.

 

I could use some of it. Around 8GB. And I could use one of those Processors.

Don't dissect my father's super computer, I indirectly need that to get electricity and food and nice things…
