  1. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

Black holes are entirely gravity based (to my knowledge), and their gravity patterns are like ovals (similar to most objects). If light travels near a black hole, it get sucked toward the center of gravity. It can't block it, if it isn't in the way.

*insert Bill Nye the Science Guy theme song*

But in all seriousness, this is some cool stuff. But, if the universe is not infinite, what ends it? A massive shield? Or is it just a huge area of nothingness?... But would that still be considered space? Or is the universe like a ball, without any ending?

  3. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

Light is energy but the energy of a black hole overcomes n bends light n consumes it. Consider all that mass n energy collected by a black hole n what might come if or will come of it.

  4. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

An idea which potentially means the universes would loop around 0.0 think about it as if it were a monkey at a typewriter eventually it would type out the complete works of William Shakespeare or anyone given enough time of just randomly typing things things would naturally eventually loop so then if we lumped your theory with mine the big timeline would have multiple types of infinite timelines looping endlessly meaning "time travel" (timeline travel not actually through time) could be possible via "parallel universes".

  5. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

How does a black hole attract light if it has no mass?

  6. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

Who proved black holes have no mass?
What if its a worm hole to another universe?

  7. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

It's a vacuum with forces we are unable to ascertain or record. Something about it sucks in light, but we don't know

  8. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

To have gravity, mass is needed.

  9. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

Now since the idea of the black hole being the implosion as suggested by someone then the energy buildup would be huge the black hole would start to implode and then there would be a small area of energy which could lead back to the Big Bang theory as a small area of energy explodes into every direction leaving particles and mass as it goes. Just some food for thought how most theory's can link into other theory's. Cool right?

  10. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

Black holes r a component of space. A vacuum requires energy. A black hole has energy. Therefore it has mass bourne upon its accumulated collection. A great place for us to send our waste btw.

  11. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

Energy does not create mass, that's impossible based on the law of conservation of mass

  12. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

    Who said energy creates mass?
Gravity requires mass n if black holes use gravity hence they must contain mass or use some other unknown force.

  13. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

You state it has mass because it has energy

  14. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

I said it has both not energy creates mass. Reread.
    Earth has mass hence gravity.
    Mass has energy.

  15. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

You state here, that because it has energy, it has mass. Based on that logic, so does light.

  16. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

Now the energy from a black hole wouldn't be creating the mass let's say it kept the mass and rather than exploded spreaders the mass around in an explosion. That could work.

  17. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

Mass is energy n my theory is a black hole has mass in a proportion of unfathomable size.

  18. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

    So just insane density.

  19. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

    I forgot myself sorry.
Ops a great thread n a most entertaining topic stretching brain muscles onto to new levels.
