The Universe is NOT Infinite [Strong Evidence]

  1. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

We as humans revel in our own explanation of something we have no idea about. Our brilliant scientists will never say "I don't know", they have theories. Which is what their purpose in life is.

    How's this.....

Maybe we are parasites living on a particle or an atom of some sort, and "the universe" is just the dead space between the next mass we are microscopically next to?

Not everything we experience is rational to us. We have limits in our intelligence. Most things we cannot explain are dismissed and explained in falsities. Because we are human.

  2. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

Dumbest thing I've read in a long time.

  3. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

One thing I hate about our limited minds, but it's not like there's an alternative

  4. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

    Ok

  5. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

I haven't put too much thought into this but I was always curious if there's been enough time for an advanced civilization similar to humans to have evolved on earth and been wiped out, but it happened so long ago that all fossils remains are gone or past depths we can reach.

  6. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

And could I write a movie script based on this

  7. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

Earth was uninhabitable for a while, then a dwarf planet collided with earth and gravity formed earth into a sphere. Then the planet cooled down and single cell organisms started producing.

  8. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

I've heard some stories/apparent evidence that some "early" humans seem to have apparently died of radioactive poisoning. Although probably unlikely, it seems that some conspiracy theorists believe it to have been previous nuclear wars. Although if this is true...? Bleh.

  9. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

I'd be interested in that ^_^

  10. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

I'm just thinking of Horton Hears a Who :p

  11. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

     Yes!

  12. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

Einstein is a fake in first place. Taking credit for own wife is below my standard - that is mine and few others infinite assumption or believe.
To the whole thread - 300 years ago we were flat. 200 years ago we were center of the universe. 100 years ago we learned to fly, 50 years ago we put theather in a box, 25 years ago we started to play first computer games, 12.5 years ago we landed properly on mars, 6.25 yrs ago we started to partially understand the universe, yesterday i read there is liquid watter bearing planet in nearly every star system, tomorrow i have to work (i hate that unfortunately) 2020 we suppose to go to moon, by 2050 mars after that only universe know.

But to make assumption about the UNIVERSE is irrelevant as it is not true unless we reach the stars.

  13. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

    Idiot of the year nominee?

First, Einstein was not at all fake, and it was not his wife

Second, despite popular belief, the scientific community has believed the world to be round for a few thousand years. They knew this because during lunar eclipses the earth always cast a round shadow on the moon, what shape always casts a round shadow? A sphere

And lastly, we have already went to the moon in 1969

  14. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

Mule - read between the lines plz. That was a merely constructed fiction timeline of human kind science. It mean that we are progressing quiet fadt pace atm.
Einstein theory is debated widely. She was excelent scientist but no1 would take female seriously in that time. He was excentric dreamer I give him that much . Go figure.

Dont call me idiot for my own view. I never said its proven or true in first place...

  15. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

People have known it for a long time, but for some reason they didn't accept it cause they were greedy and wanted to be the center of everything.

Even in I think 3rd or 5th century BCE, Plato or Archimedes or someone calculated the diameter of the earth using shadows.

  16. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

Just clarifying are you talking about the earth being at the center of the solar system or the earth being flat?

  17. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

i havent read a single thing of "proof" in your entire thread. from my point of view you are trying to look smart by talking about stuff only a few people know what it is actually about, and (for now) now nobody fully understands.

all ive read is specullation and some fancy questions at the bottom of the thread.

  18. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

    Cool Story bro

  19. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

Why do you do this? 

  20. Re: The Universe is NOT Infinite [Proof]

Ok lets chuck another two things out there.

1 was the Big Bang the first? It has it happened before, maybe we are the hundredth or millionth Big Bang along after everything ended via a giant black hole that attained critical mass and exploded. Another of those crazy theories that can never be proven.

2 for every scientist, Data analyst, teach that wastes time with theories and life research that will have zero effect on our lives, especially at our current level of technology.
How many disease cures are we missing due to people with analytical minds wasting their gifts of understanding on subjects that are pointless. When just one researcher may find that new point of data that provides a new cure, vaccine or treatment.
We need medical researchers in the real world. Not trained professionals daydreaming of trips to other galaxies that won't be possible for hundreds of years.
    Total waste of human resources.
Just my humble opinion. Not trashing your thread which has provided some interesting reading. Even if I do not agree with your theory.
