the time playing when changes no longer are enjoyable

  1. Peeps that never buy seals are peeps that say hte should be removed, if anything devs should be less greedy an make more than hte the one avenue to universally do swell in kaw with plunder an event items. Maybe bring back 2x plunder eb rotations since 6bucks for a 2x haunt isn't a even swap an a possible swindle

  2. 5yr Foreveraloneguy is my old acct. One of the original osfs.

The devs do not understand a reoccurring revenue model that well. The reason why the accts are here today(there bread and butter if you will), is because of the tenured players. Let's take into acct it takes 2 to 3 years to max out(1 1/2 years if you are dedicated), if it has been almost 6 years than technically these maxed out accts started growing in 2013. Who influenced these 2013 baby boomers to become active? We did.. I may have not contributed as much financially to the game as others; whereas, my ability to influence others and generate camaraderie amongst new accts generates more revenue than my personal contributions. Now take into consideration the 5 year accts and all the influence interactions they've made. How many accts did they influence/retain to consistently play kaw? How many friendships did they cultivate who in turn developed new relationships. It's almost like a pyramid scheme with like-minded individuals. I don't feel like we get enough respect. The veterans like the for founders of any country are the roots of this game and should be treated as such.

  3. Totally agree.
And thanks for the quote of op moose much easier to read.

Where I had my fun broken was when the game got to the stage that a larger player on hte could earn more in two hits than I could take from them with a full offload.

That seriously kills the pvp aspect of the game for me.

Time to grow or retire. Maybe somewhere in between. Too many friends.
The one part kaw cannot affect on here is the ability to be sociable.
Though a group friend chat would be an awesome addition.

  4. In all honesty, I don't really pay attention to what the devs do. When they release events I just check to see how hard I need to work to get stuff. But the devs try to do some things with the best intentions so I never really worry. But that's just my input, everyone has their own view.

  5. 5 yearz

Kaw not good, only salad good

  6. On average it seems like pvp oriented players have a lot less tolerance than eb oriented players which makes sense.

  7. Agree n why is that...
Mainly due to the fact EB' n events r overrunning kaw where as warring needs much more attention.
I play eb's for obvious reasons n events to the point if rewards improve my war build.
As for war its my main reason i KaW once i did ASW 3 I was hooked n adjusted my build n continue to build for war.
The EB community does just fine whilst the war community gets frustrated.

    About Events...
The fact top 10 or 100 get premium rewards sits fine with me. Idc if others not paying the money n time don't get them. Biz wise I'm cool with that.

The fact that this is a war game n CS n EQ n BFA n BFE r useless IMO unless ppl war is my stance. Those who complain n don't war nor build for war have a baseless argument.

    About HtE...
Play it or don't. Much too much furor about nada

  8. There is some truth in what the op is saying.

Im sure we all know some older people who are stuck in there ways.

Does that apply to whats happening in kaw, dunno.

  9. Been playing for about 7 months. Love the game, although can definitely see room for improvement and a growing discontent amongst the players who are forummers.
I see ebs as the tool for growth, and pvp as the fun and challenging side of the game, so both are interesting from my point of view.
Pay 2 Play is a fact of gaming life, it doesnt bother me much that others drop heaps of dollar into the game to win events, never really had an issue with my progress in them.
The only facet of p2p that is a little worriesome is the fact that xtals are required for wars, however with the new reimbursement addition, that is somewhat mitigated.
On top if that, its only $1.27 aud for a xtal, so its not THAT much money I spend here.

All in all, I love the game and enjoy interacting with the community. :D

  10. I just want freedom.

  11. It's kinda true on a general note but my alt has a 5 year badge and I actually like the way kaw is going right now :D

  12. Well it has made a rebound very recently towards the way things old players want it to be (still lots of work to be done)

  13. Just about to hit my 5 year mark. Not sure to be happy or sad about that 

What I like, change wise : ebs, changes to wars, new lands.

What I dislike, change wise : the fasttrack thing for new players we had, the creation and infestation of hte clans which had a hand changing the game into what it is now. And some events which require little effort, but give better one time rewards than thhe hard to get ones from ebs, which people may have tried to get for years, only to be rendered invalid.

I get some people will disagree with me over the hte point, but it is my opinion. I am also aware some of the other points may come off a bit aggressive/bad.

  14. Only 3 years here.

Liked - new ebs, new ways if warring.

Didnt like - everything else. Not joking. 90% of what the development teams has implemented in the last year is trash in my opinion.

Whatever, hte seal buyers are the people ata works for.

  15. Late 2009 early 2010 here, Id say what I experienced growing in 09-'10 is a whole lot different than when I made this account in 2012. PWars were abundant in 2010 and when I can back, Reverse PWars were the thing in 2012. Still the same amount of battles, warring, striping. Then EBs came out and everyone refused to do them until Haunting killed the wars. It was The Haunting that changed everything, and suddenly the new age KaW was born. The game slipped into subtle peace while everyone farmed away and grinded on haunting after haunting.

Then EE was released and suddenly war was back in the game. Now the devs try to find a difficult balance between EBs and Wars. However the fact still remains, gold has inflated and goals are easier to reach.

Now would I go back to 2010? No. Would I go back to 2012? Maybe. Do I like now? Yes. Indi wars are so much fun, and sitting on 82 bil gold was something I could never dream of doing in 2012. Now can it buy me anything? Hell no, that's how much gold has inflated.

I'm indifferent but I definitely do not disregard any of the newer ideas or creations and I definitely enjoy playing the New Age KaW just as much as the Old.

  16. I've been playing for a little bit.

The developers have adapted the game mostly in ways that I approve. Sometimes, usually in the war area, folks, myself included, can get irritated, but I enjoy the various changes the developers have implemented in the game. So, I may or may not be an outlier for your hypothesis.
