Chapter 14: (Frankie) I woke up to see a familiar face on my bedside. It took me awhile to recognize it but it was by no doubt my other best friend Kevin. He had signed onto the cadets a few weeks after I did. Nevertheless he joined my platoon and so did Justin. I looked over to Yumi and saw that she had taken the most damage of the three of us. We stayed in the hospital for nearly 4 months but Stanford was healed by 3 weeks and he, Justin and Kevin were going out on patrols. To be continued
Chapter 16: (Kevin) I signed into the cadets a few weeks after Frankie did an after 5 years, war broke out. Since then more and more countries have been declaring war on the Allies. The new got worse and my memory is a jumbled mess. I would've liked to share them here but it was too horrific for words. To be continued
Chapter 16: (Justin) I remember joining the cadets near when Frankie joined. Right now I don't have much to say, but I am thinking of Benny, who always fights with Frankie and who is back home, or so I thought, and relaxing. I was wrong. A month later, Benny turned up as a cadet. As soon as he saw Frankie in his injured state, he fainted.
Chapter 17: (Benny) After seeing Frankie injured, the next thing I remember was being dragged to the stress release station. I often went on patrols at daytime with Fergus and Reynhard. Very little happened during our patrols; however the war was going bad for us. The news was too horrific for words. The Canadian cadets had all but ceased to exist, having very few members left. The US cadets also had some difficulties. I will say no more and let this horror fade away into the darkness of the night.
Chapter 18: (Fergus) Of all of us, I think I'm actually the strongest, while Frankie has the most willpower, Benny has endurance, Justin has speed, Kevin had the brains, and Reynhard was pretty brave too. I don't know about Yumi and Stanford though. I do know that Stanford's very confident. I have no more to say for now. To be continued
Chapter 18: (Reynhard) I do not have much to say. Of all of us, I was one of the earliest cadets along with Air Cadet Leslie. We do not know where he is but we do know he is near RAF HQs. To be continued
Chapter 19: (Yumi) I woke up, weak and with immense effort, I looked around. It had already been two months that we had been in the hospital. For the next two months, the painful writhing of Frankie and I were gone. Though I still felt an overwhelming amount of pain at the slightest movement, I was half-healed already. Just then, the hospital began to shake. I suddenly realized that the Spanish were launching an aerial attack on us. To be continued
Chapter 20: (Frankie) I woke up to the shaking hospital and realized what was going on. I also knew that there were anti-aircraft guns at the doors of the hospital, as well as machine guns. Painfully, I got up and limped to the anti-aircraft gun, hearing Yumi behind me telling me to stay. I looked around and smiled. She had always knew that I was half-insane anyways. I got on the gun and started firing at the Spanish aircraft. I chased most of them off. I knew the hospital had been hit directly a few times, but when I went in, all I saw were ruins. My thoughts turned to Yumi, was she OK? I began to look around. To my intense relief, everyone made it to the underground of the hospital. To be continued
Chapter 21: (Yumi) After another two months, Frankie and I were completely healed. We were sent back to patrol. This time, I was sure we wouldn't get in any trouble, now that patrols went in larger groups. After another month, Frankie and I were sent to the front lines at No Man's Land to become a part of a big attack to gain a new front line. Stanford came a week later and so did the rest of our group. The memories of the attack was a jumble of fragmentated images.
BRAVO............!!!!!!!!!!!!! but can u end it a lil nicely n happily???? r u a writer??? did u write this?????
This is far from ending and no I'm not a writer i make this up as I go along but the names I say are all my real life friends.
Chapter 22: (Frankie) Yumi and I were sent to the Germany to help the attack of the UK. It ended in a success but Yumi and I were far from OK; we had learned that most men in the front lines of No Man's Land, including Stanford, had been wiped out by German gas attacks. I also heard the fact that Russia declared war on Japan. I couldn't remember anything for the next few days, which I spent in a daze at the fact that Stanford was dead. To be continued
Chapter 23: (Yumi) I hoped this war would be over soon but there was no such luck. It has been less than a year and most of it was bad news. During a patrol, I remember a cadet scout being blown to smithereens as a victim to a Luftwaffe bomb. I suppose that one incident with the scout had put myself in a state of shock. I couldn't remember anything for the next few days. To be continued
Chapter 24: (Yumi) For a full week, Luftwaffe had launched an intense bombard onthe RAF. The Russians declared themselves as allies to Canada, US, UK and the Australians. I got very little sleep these days and my uniform became tattered and torn. Frankie and I burned lice out of our uniforms with a kerosene lamp, but what we didn't know was that lice laid eggs in the seams of clothes and that we could pick as many lives off and they would be immediately replaced. To be continued
Chapter 25: (Frankie) About a month of being in the trenches at No Man's Land, we woke up one morning and couldn't believe our ears. It was silent. Then, afraid to disturb the silence, I whispered to Yumi," Do you think the war is over?". She replied also in a whisper,"No. Do you know what day it is?". I shook my head. She said,"Today is Christmas day!". It suddenly dawned on me that it was true and that we had lost count of what day it was. The entire day, it was silent. Then something happened in the front line trench. It were a few soldiers exchanging gifts with them Germans. The Germans had chucked over a pack of cigarettes and we chucked over a flask of rum rations. We all cheered and so did the Germans. Just then, a lieutenant came with a sergeant and said,"Having connections with the enemy is an offense liable to being shot for treason. I'd stop if I were you. And don't forget, tommorrow we'll be killing them and they'll be killing us." The lieutenant was right. At midnight exactly, the mortars opened up again. 3 years passed, and we were still at war.
Epilogue: (Yumi) My war ended a month after Christmas, where I was hit by about 4 shotgun blasts. I survived but barely. I was discharged from the war and was sent back home in Vancouver. Epilogue: (Frankie) My war ended at the same time Yumi's ended. I was hit by a shell just outside Serbia. I was lucky to survive by shrapnel had cut my arm and leg. The doctors talked about amputating them but my doctor insisted that he could reset them enough so they would mend. I returned to Vancouver as I was too wounded to continue fighting. 2 years later, the war ended with our victory. Fergus and the rest of my buddies returned to Vancouver, victorious. The cadets had been disbanded, but showed signs of recovery.
