Ahdragos.. To be fair. Alision makes a good farmer. She's dropped build just to farm. How many other players can you name that dropped from 6mil CS to 1.6cs just to farm? Use your brain princess instead of flapping your gums like a fairy princess She is not what I'd call your everyday epic battle/nob jockey.. But I wouldent call that a bad thing, would you? I've farmed Alison and been farmed by her. The only Problem I've seen with Alison is that she takes ten farms on at a time and needs to practice her trash talk.
Nicely written. I agree with your point about the ally slots and how big time spenders control aspects of the game. But you went on to talk about EE warriors and stuff. I would disagree with that part. Suffice to say, different people play this game differently. For those unwilling or unable to spend, EE actually offers a more level playing field. While the new equipment and shiny badges are strong motivators but realistically, nobody really think it's going change anything. On the contrary, the fact that most top 10 lb cannot participate in EE is a problem. If you think about it, it's a rare occasion that something was introduced that benefit the masses more rather than the heavyweights. In fact I'm really concerned that they will tear down EE because of this.
@ahdragos A year or two off? What have you been smoking? You honestly believe there were reset bonuses in 2009? How old do you think this game is? Before you go crucifying me on my facts which I said are not set in stone, better check your own.
Games been here longer than anyone else. And resets were in the game BEFORE me. I joined dec 28 2009 and my forum join date was jan 7 2010 or something. I'm betting Game has it right. So yeah slugger a year or two off.
Phil, I've been here since '09. Nothing's changed. Even then forums said the same things you're saying today. Money walks. That sad the gap has increased. Until Majesty sold his account I could hit him. Now only 2 players I know who are either unpaid or mostly unpaid have that kind of power that they can hit the top 10 and aren't nob abusers. They're from '09 also. If I had been osf during Pwar era I'd be further ahead but I decided not to as I suspected Devs would take the cash back. They didn't take that cash back nor the cash which KoW made on the original allies exploit. It's not a standard which is applied evenly or fairly at all times. Get used to it, or rage quit. Those are the options. Don't even get me started on mod appoints either. While the vast majority are great choices there are a few who were appointed because of their dollars. MrGoodcat, and Majesty (who was a fair and impartial mod IMO) were baited to stay with the mod addition to their accounts. I'm hugely surprised ATA didn't try and 'help' Trueplayer the same way.
Oh, reset bonuses were in 09. Many of us decided as you have to deny them in preference for the wins/losses record. Truth be told they could have just plugged the gap and new players from then on lived by new rules. So old accounts with reset items keep them and the rest of us don't have that option. That would have made the most sense.
