    Desire

    I desire your touch...
    Your warmth...
    Your soul...

    I desire your love...
    Your hate...
    Your calm...

    I desire your eyes...
    Your lips...
    Your hands...

    I desire your friendship...
    Your trust...
    Your promises...

    I desire your life...
    Your heart...
    Your perfection...

    I desire your heat...
    Your voice...
    Your hair...

    I desire your protection...
    Your fondness...
    Your faith...

    I desire... You.

  14. Desire
Desiring money will leave you with nothing.
Desiring fame will leave you insignificant.
Desiring love will leave you with hate.
Desiring beauty will leave you unsightly.
You look at people today and ask yourself, "What do I want?"
And you think to yourself, why can't they just be happy with what they've got?

I don't really like this poem but I tried. I wasn't exactly into the whole desire topic.

  15. Good!!  I like how you repeated desire over and over..it helped to cement the idea! Just wondering though..,why did you split them into 3 liners?

  16. OMG! Kimber that's my favorite of yours!

  17. I like 3 liners, and it made the feel of it better to me. Plus, odd numbers speak to artistc eyes!
