The LB is Still Attainable w/o $

    While I wasn't intending for this post to become a pissing match for who done what first and for how much $, I realize I kind of set myself up for that so....

    Let me just say that I was excited to have finally made it into the top 10 (I expect to promptly drop a few spots now since I went back to my preferred mix build). I had decided a few months back that the top 10 would be out of reach without spending $. The LB has evolved a bit since DM ruled over it and I believe there is more $ being spent than ever before (watching ppl climb battles at a rate of 1k/day is a good indicator of this). I also thought it would require too much of a compromise with job & family. My problem is that I hate doing anything half way ... so I kept at it regardless. Sure enough, I broke the glass ceiling.

    But I don't want to diminish what others have done. I only made it to the top 10 after all. DM & Majesty both had their turns at dominating the entire lb. That's quite a feat.

    I also don't want to give any appearance of disrespect to those who spend $ on the game. You Gus are the reason the devs continue to roll out new features & upgrades. You deserve the rewards you get for that $.

    What's great about this game from my perspective is that it's sufficiently well balanced that mediocre spenders like me can still compete with deep pockets. I just have to work harder to make up the difference - and that's exactly how it should be.

    Now on to the all star war ... SHOW NO MERCY! 
