____________________________________ Getting Started There are many different strategies for building and exploring lands for beginners. I will go over what I believe are the necessary steps to a “good” start. So when you join the game you can build a guild, a workshop, barracks, or a stable. I don't really have any control over what you pick here because you probably aren't reading this before you play the game. Either way, whatever you build at this stage of the game doesn’t matter. The first step is joining a clan. This task is essential to being introduced to the game and familiarizing yourself with KaW’s surroundings and atmosphere.
I would consider it a tradition that you get volleyed. This is the second step. Probably 99% of active and continuous/persistent KaW players have been volleyed at their early stages of the game. After being volleyed, many of your teachers or volleyers would suggest you build forges for successful attacks on EB’s or Quest. I would do as they advise, even if it’s not as stated on here. You can easily find people to volley you in WC or in your New Home Clan.
Now that you have completed building forges or whatever your teacher told you, the next and most important step is to build up your ally plunder. This in my opinion is essential to a quick stable source of income. In actuality, your ally plunder is the only stable income, as it is consistent unless you change your build. To build up your ally income, simply hire allies. The more you invest in allies, the higher the income you will get back. Think of it as basic economics, a guy buys a $100 stock and gets $10 every week until that stock gets bought from him. Now if he bought a $200 stock, then he would get $20 every week until that stock got bought back again. But here in KaW, the income isn’t on a timed basis, the income is based on your activity in EB’s or hitting the BL. The more often you hit, the more often you will receive the income.
Now the path you take from here on out is based on the results you want. Ask around about the builds and I’m sure one will spark your interest. There are literally thousands of ways to efficiently maintain growth. But which path will suit to your liking and lifestyle is the question. In the future I’ll elaborate how some people go about in building up or growth and show you what is okay and what is NOT okay. As for now, this section of the guide is aimed towards beginners.
____________________________________ Making Money The following is a list of simple and easy ways to make gold. Attacking Attacking is the most obvious way of making money. If you attack someone, you get gold depending on how strong the enemy is. The stronger the opponent, the more money you make. However the stronger the opponent, you might have a smaller chance of winning.
Action Through Epic Battles Performing any sort of action in an epic battle will result in receiving an award if it is successfully completed. Some actions provide higher rewards than other actions, and some actions favor one type of build over others.
Stealing This is also an obvious way to make money. If you steal from someone, you get gold depending on how strong the enemy is.
Being Hired/Volleyed Getting hired gives you some good money as well. Each time you're hired, you get gold. The amount of gold you get goes up every time you're hired, capping at the hire cost of 75million giving you 1million every time you're hired.
