The Guide to Farming 1.0, by Raeki

  1. The verb vs noun portion of your argument is misguided & distracts from the point. Retaliate is a verb and aggressive is an adjective, but none of this has anything to do with your argument about farming. I suggest you cut it out and stick to the point.

  2. ******* hELL YOU ARE AWESOME! even though I'm not too shabby at grammar myself....you are awesome

  3. I've a few thoughts on this subject.
There are two types of player, predator and prey, perception is what it's all about.
The game is focused around attacks as such I would prefer to be the predator, to complain about being hit 20 times is to whine

  4. By surrendering power to them, you make yourself look weaker, posting on peoples Walls, wc or in forums lends them more psychological strength, not only are they beating you in game but also in your own minds eye.
If I farm someone and I see this weakness I will use it to my best advantage and I will keep attacking until an apology arises.

  5. Now speaking for myself and my guilds, we have a 24 hour hit back policy, that means if you hit once win or fail( and were not already taking someone else down) you will be farmed back for 24 hours minimum, if you hit back once an hour gets added

  6. If you get your guild to attack, you will either be stripped and farmed by my guilds or we will start stripping and farming players in your guild until you surrender and apologise and give us a sweetner

  7. So in my idea of farming is the breaking of a player, so that the "character" he/she hit you with is no longer able to play for a minimum of a day at their normal capacity( that they are hindered to such an extent as to want to go and grab a comfort blanket and watch the smurfs)

  8. Obviously the 24 hour farming from us is for a minor infraction. Please be aware that I speak from. My personal point of view and not in a helpful way as other esteemed colleagues here have done.
As one of the more well known farmers in kaw

  9. Raeki FTW

  10. Sticky.its awesome that someone finally cleared this up. Booze and hot chicks ordered for Raeki. ;)

  11. Lol this is great. I started hitting off the battle list again about 2-3 months ago, and in the last month I've had 3-4 people complain that I was "farming" even though I was polite and hit 5 times (maybe 6 ). The sad part is, most people who need to read this will probably not be on forums in the first place 

  12. Good job Raeki. Fantastic Guide!

  13. Nyn, both way it works. Retaliating. You control retaliating, since youre doing it. Im sure everybody agrees if they hit and are hit back its retaliation (noun still). So no confusion there. Agression is a noun; i think thats what you use more. I explained how it works as a noun in the "guide". If u think its an adjective; it still works. "He attacks everyone from the battle list." we infer he is agressive, showing agression (noun still)

  14. Btw, to game and sin, i would have done a more "agressive" term, but too many nooblets would have shunned it it would have neen useless. At least now they wont complain at 5 hits lol.

  15. U r awesome for setting this issue straight. A entire clan got mad at me for "farming" their osf. I hit him 15 times. they strip farmed me, as in hired all my allies and pummeled me with attacks for 2 days.

  16. Well for an osf its 5 hit auto farm. Especially clan osf. Really they didny do anytjing "wrong". Sorry didnt clear that isue up:

So originaly there were a group of public osfs. They made a 5 hit rule so everybody cohld have some gold. So if you exceed 5 hits, thats why it is auto farm. Osfs kinda carried on this rule, althoivh their purpose is sorta different

Fun fact: i was the first official osf abuser lmao

  17. I don't know if this is the best idea...
Since most people (especially before lc strength) consider farming 5< hits, telling them this definition will just lead to many problems for them, they will piss many people off. Just because you say this is what farming is doesn't mean you should tell that to noobs since everyone will tell them why'd u farm me after 5> hits.

  18. Raeki - no - sorry - it doesn't hold up and it's distracting. Nobody gives a damn whether it's a noun or verb. It just depends how you frame the sentence and has nothing at all to do with the central theme of your argument. Let it go.

  19. Awesome guide! I am directing all the newbies your way. Have to agree with the distracting grammer comment by nyn, though. I have an Eng Lit degree and found it distractingly off-topic...and "deiced"? 

  20. Much-needed BUMP!
