  1. How does the theory of multi-universes apply to this?
    Has it been determined only 1 universe exists or not?

  9. Hmm something misunderstood about my original post-

    This thread was posted literally minutes after someone else had posted an equally well written and detailed post on The Big Rip, my concern was that people insisted on chiming in with all the different mainstream theories of the universe and I felt by shutting it down before it gets ahead that it would be less likely to happen.
