Alright, look at it this way. Pure spy is not open to a smaller spy build... Pure attack is not open to smaller attack build.. However balanced is open to both because they have around the same total cs as the other two, but more spread out and so weaker on all fronts. The main exception is that if you have very high bfa, your attacker can't get in no matter what front they use because of your monster bfa.
