  2. Only 0.002% no matter the size of the opponent? I just ran a test, small hybrid stealing and hlbc osf stealing, the difference is pretty big, am i misunderstanding something?

  3. Hi Swabia...

on your scenario of 2 people on you in war, this is how I do it, since you are attack with spy. I take Wenderful and I ass you to zero troop, then I scoutbomb your spies to zero, but keep Wendyms full troop and spy for the moment. By the way, I will xtal to achieve this. Obviously, I am using the scenario you offered this is not how I always play, but in scenario of one vs. two this is how I do it.

I then open up my pc clock so I can see the seconds and I begin to scoutbomb you with Wendyms in 30 seconds or less intervals and find your regen time - high, medium or low so I can be accurate in my hitting. I then sit on your regen, but use an assassination as first hit to see when your troops up if you let them go out of pin, if they out of pin, I attack you back to pin and then scoutbomb your spies back down. As my spies get low and especially with you having towers I expect to have some defeats, I bring Wenderful back in to keep you at pin while Wendyms regens for a bit to sit on you again.

  4. whoops... my censored word was abbreviation for assassination... hehe

  5. And then the opponent crystals and screws all your hard work up.

    Darn.

  6. Respectfully, I disagree swab. I think the most important aspect of war isn't what you do as an individual but what your clan does as a team. You could be the most dialed-in, active warrior in kaw, but if your clan is uncoordinated and unorganized it means nothing. You'll probably be pinned anyways due to lack of support.

I will share one tip with the community though that's relevant to current OSW's....pay attention to your mith use. Noobs pop mith around the time they wake up and hide allies before bed. I've found more sleep times by tracking people's spell routines that I ever did through traditional avenues. And hide your good allies with "fillers" or "decoys". Any war clan that's worth a damn will ss your whole clans visible allies right off the bat in case you try to hide them with a spell.

  7. Actually that is correct, the opponent does on occasion xtal. But if they xtal, they going to also burn them right down again themselves, maybe on you, maybe on someone else, but that is when you call for your clanmates to assist and remember the scenario.... 1 v 2.... you have your backup as well. And yes, regen time may change, but you allow for that when you have them back at pin to adjust to new regen time.

  8. Also please understand the new items being dropped in the EBs and the new pots.

    Initially, everyone will say...
Oh... It's just 10%, you can use pots for defense. Unfortunately it's not so simple.

    Abyssal Sword
    - 10% Attack (6197640 dependent on your build) n 10% Spy Attack (11842800, dependent on your build)

    Armor of Eternal Flame
    - 5% Spy Defence (5921400, dependent on your build)

    Ice Guardian's Shield
    - 5% Defence (3223880, dependent on your build)

    Locust Swarm
    - Attack 25,000,000
    Mind Scream
    - Spy Attack 20,000,000
    Blizzard
    - Attack 45,000,000
    Spell of Amnesia
    - Spy Attack 35,000,000

    Battle Fury
    - Attack n Defence 25,000,000
    Bloodlust
    - Attack n Defence 45,000,000
    Fog of War
    - Spy Attack n Spy Defence 20,000,000
    Veil of Darkness
    - Spy Attack n Spy Defence 35,000,000

If you look at this you'd know that Attack Stats are higher than possible Defence Stats.

The only way to prevent incoming would be towers, the errr least used structures before the new EBs n Item Drops came out.

One fact to look at is what ZAFT Destiny did the moment the new EBs appeared, they moved away from The Haunting, and started to do The Destroyer.
    Why?
    - Same payout as The Haunting
    - no need to use pots for last 2-5 hits
    - you get the item n the two new pots

I can smash through a defending spy with 11 Spy Attack Pots to 9 Spy Def Pots.

Similarly I can smash through a defender with 11 def pots using 13 attacking pots.

To prevent this you need a minimum of 2-5 Defence Fortresses
    or 2-5 Lookout Fortresses

  9. Nicely said SirIsaac! Teamwork is a major key to success

  10. Heh. Heh.

Not to mention, ss your own allies... That way you can track them all the way to the bank, as it were, regardless of who's doing the direct hiring. Doesn't help so much in a surprise attack, but if you can see things headed a certain way, or your clan is already in osw- it just takes a second.

  11. I would say the most important thing in war is be active don't join a war then an hour later go to bed or work and leak all day or nite be there to pin the other clan or stay pinned yourself
Second work as a clan use cc too talk to each other on who need pinning or who leaking
    That my thoughts done

  12. So if i have 1trill out (1,000,000,000,000) and someone steals from me my loss is only 20m (20,000,000) I don't think that is right. Think you might be out by a power of 10 there.

Also is there a formula for loss per hit?

  13. brb not going to work to stay active
brb not sleeping for days to stay active

  14. What a lot people do not understand regarding the 0.02 is this....

If you check the CdG vs iG thread you'll notice Swabia saying that he has a billion out, but CdG were only stealing him 0.02 per steal...

    What the above means is....
    - you are receiving a lot of money in steals, but
    - the one being stolen loses only 0.02, which is insignificant, compared to a direct attack, where you lose close to 0.1 (10%)

There are two faces to this argument.

    A is a pure spy; B is a hybrid with 1b out

    A steals from B (B at 100% spies)

    A steals 48m, 1st steal
    B loses 0.02 of 1b, B only loses 20m
    980m left

A steals again, B loses only 19.6m max and so on....

If B's spies are close to only 22%, B's loses are even lesser.

Attacker is trying to hurt the defender, but stealing doesn't hurt - this is what Swabia is pointing out.

That's why in respect to CdG vs iG; CdG should not go Hansel or Spy Build, your steals do not make any significant loss to the defender.

  15. Is 1million spy def tower worth it ?

  16. Who are all these mods?! ****.. I'm gonna have to get someone to tell me.

Anyway, I find that spy builds are best if you like the veil of anonymity, but of you don't mind attracting attention, attack builds are best. They take more per hit, and earn much more.

  17. Meisha, Yarmes, Melissa, and CanadianGirl are the four newest mods

  18. Looking at this thread I realise how much a fail I was when Swabia was giving me a lesson. That was a month ago.

Although this is an informative thread, I can't contribute... So bump

  19. @ Kinglazy

Spy towers definately help. Unlike a guild or sos, towers are always at 100%.

The thing to keep in mind is you only have so many lands to build on and everything is a trade off. More towers means less troops or spys. The trick is finding the balance that works best for the situtation.
