"Americans are so small minded they can't govern themselves and must surrender thier rights"-Obama Sept. 11th 2016 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sLSh9ihV_SI
And thanks to the internet, you can even find made up quotes that didn't happen. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter ... ernet-was/ But what can you expect from conspiracy theorists who don't care about facts, because its easier to believe any far-fetched made up lie that supports their beliefs?
Here's the text of the actual speech. "Leaders and dignitaries of the European Union; representatives of our NATO Alliance; distinguished guests: We meet here at a moment of testing for Europe and the United States, and for the international order that we have worked for generations to build. Throughout human history, societies have grappled with fundamental questions of how to organize themselves, the proper relationship between the individual and the state, the best means to resolve inevitable conflicts between states. And it was here in Europe, through centuries of struggle — through war and Enlightenment, repression and revolution — that a particular set of ideals began to emerge: The belief that through conscience and free will, each of us has the right to live as we choose. The belief that power is derived from the consent of the governed, and that laws and institutions should be established to protect that understanding. And those ideas eventually inspired a band of colonialists across an ocean, and they wrote them into the founding documents that still guide America today, including the simple truth that all men — and women — are created equal. But those ideals have also been tested — here in Europe and around the world. Those ideals have often been threatened by an older, more traditional view of power. This alternative vision argues that ordinary men and women are too small-minded to govern their own affairs, that order and progress can only come when individuals surrender their rights to an all-powerful sovereign. Often, this alternative vision roots itself in the notion that by virtue of race or faith or ethnicity, some are inherently superior to others, and that individual identity must be defined by "us" versus "them," or that national greatness must flow not by what a people stand for, but by what they are against." How can you talk about conspiracies and truth, when you are willing to believe even the most easily debunkable crap that flops onto the internet?
The sad thing is that it took only a few minutes to track down the real speech. A few minutes of actual fact checking that conspiracy theorists never do - especially when they might find something that undercuts their precious conspiracy. https://owlcation.com/social-sciences/1 ... y-Theories
And he still said it and it doesn't change the fact that the fascists have their symbols all over this country (with the axe), that congress created a corporation to govern in 1801 and again in 1871, with a second constitution without the original 13th amendment that disqualifies British attorneys from holding office, One says "for the united states" the other says "of the united states" and only one is signed by the founders So go ahead and debunk the original post
Fascism (Source- Mirriam Webster's Dictionary) : a way of organizing a society in which a government ruled by a dictator controls the lives of the people and in which people are not allowed to disagree with the government : very harsh control or authority Yup, sounds like liberal Hillary and the Democrats Socialism (Mirriam Websters Dictionary) : a way of organizing a society in which major industries are owned and controlled by the government rather than by individual people and companies Communism (Mirriam Websters Dictionary) : a way of organizing a society in which the government owns the things that are used to make and transport products (such as land, oil, factories, ships, etc.) and there is no privately owned property Still sounds like Democrats
There are many socialist programs on America just to name a few of everyone's favorites Post office Fire department Public school Library
The problem with trying to reason with paranoid conspiracy theorists is that actually explaining each part of their myopic fantasies is more time consuming than it's worth. Here is one of the sources who took the time with this whole Act of 1871 nonsense. http://internettheories.blogspot.com/20 ... e.html?m=1 Just like that completely idiotic and historically unsupportable rambling about fascism, and the willfully disingenuous cropping of a speech, once again the lunatic fringe has misinterpreted the language of one legislative act (retroactively applying modern usage to older terms), and bases on it an entire fictional conspiracy history. When it comes to the psychology of conspiracy theorists and their need to compensate for their (usually deserved) feelings of inadequacy: "A number of studies and analyses have revealed that a selection of psychological traits are responsible for explaining why people believe conspiracy theories. These traits include dispositions for suspicion, anxiety, feeling out of control, paranoia, self-worth based insecurities, self-aggrandizement, jealousy, self-victimization, sensitivity to fearful events, disillusionment with authority or care-givers, living a relatively independent lifestyle, gossiping, derogating critics, forming highly agreeable groups, not accepting blame, and not feeling genuine empathy towards other victims. Though conspiracies are threatening in their own way, they allow the theorist to establish order, self-worth, superiority, and a way to blame personal failure on others. Many of the causes and effects of conspiratorial thinking are related to narcissism. Though this comparison is murky and speculative, it is one that should be explored in more detail."
Lady Liberty on the flip side of the fasces? The greek idea of Nike. Victory of the people. Easy. win. The wings on her head? She looks like the goddess Nike or Victoria. Referring to the picture of the U.S. dime. Greek, Roman, in fact, any symbol at all can be cross referenced. Just because it was applied to fascism does not make any past or future reference to that symbol congruent with the ideas of fascism, or indeed with anything except a very basic idea, defined by those that choose to incorporate it, each time, quite differently. https://www.ushmm.org/wlc/en/article.ph ... d=10007453 With that in mind, anything can be portrayed quite differently than originally intended.
Why just America, how about we talk about North Korea Fascism? North Korea is a race based nationalism, guess where that is derived from? Japan
I would gather that the focus on America is due to the upcoming election. And juxtaposed to that are the issues concerning the other present day entities such as North Korea. There are many to consider as a real threat. North Korea is currently still just a pawn, but an incredibly troublesome idea, and definitely a human rights violation to its own citizens in such a horrific manner that we can never forget the message, the impression we intake just by hearing the name of its nationality.
