Surviving the McCasey Sisters© Chapter 7, Part 2 ~Recount~ 'Its impossible' I shook my head to clear my perilous thoughts. 'Or is it?' When Cassandra put her arm around me, I was more sure than not she had quickly but hardly pinched me. --------------------- We all arrived at the beach with a grateful amount of time to spare. So it was the time for conversing with my so called 'friends'. I realised my best chance of making a friend was to go and talk to Izobel. I sauntered over there, confident on the eye, but not so inside. She was wearing a lime green tunic, one of the kind that complemented her skin tone excellently. And she was also staring out at the sea, a withdrawn expression on her delicate, almost fragile, features. "Hello Izobel." She didn't answer. I cleared my throat and make my introduction again. "Hello Izobel." Izobel clearly wasn't ignoring me on purpose. These girls may be all show, but they didn't seem the kind to just blank you. I began to walk away, but then I heard a soft sound. The kind of bells coming from behind me. "Hello Lailah." I was startled for a moment, but then realised that it was Izobel finally speaking to me. I turned back around again, and went to sit by her side. "I'm sorry. Were you asking for me? I did not quite hear you, but I fear I did hear something that resembled and sounded like my name." I smiled warmly at her. Izobel seemed nice. But then, come forth 'Do not read a book by its cover.' I had a feeling I would be using that expression a lot these future years. "Yes I was Izobel, but don't worry. I was merely just trying to strike up, as they say, 'Chit Chat'." She chuckled quietly at my choice of words. Suddenly her expression turned cold and hard, her voice lost of any friendliness or compassion. I opened my mouth to speak again, but was lost for words at her cold, but still gorgeous, features. "If you ever…" "We're here!" Came a cheerful announcement, a voice which I recognised almost instantly. Michelle. The ben Mordecai's had finally arrived. I stood up and began to walk away. But a vice-like grip on my wrist pulled me back. "This is not over Lailah," she spoke quietly but callously, her words and tone mixed together sent shivers down my spine. Then I felt two hands go on both of my shoulders, and I jumped. Not with worry or fear or fright, I simply wasn't expecting it. "Hey hey hey, whats happening here?" I let out a sigh of relief. My prince in shining armour had come. AN. Hey guys! Sorry this isn't very long, but I needed to get in something about the sisters. And who is Lailah's night in shining armour? And the guy in the dream? Please guess and vote on my feedback post! Maybe I'll tell you guys who it is in the next chapter; maybe I won't. Depends on my mood. Love y'all! And finally I'm getting some readers! This means so much to me! Thanks!
Hey guys. I am thinking about getting Surviving the McCasey Sisters© Published. Like really. So it'll take about 10months/1year to complete it. And I'm determined on getting it published! Thanks!
Surviving the McCasey Sisters © Chapter 8, Part 2 ~Recount~ Then I felt two hands go on both of my shoulders, and I jumped. Not with worry or fear or fright, I simply wasn't expecting it. "Hey hey hey, whats happening here?" I let out a sigh of relief. My prince in shining armour had come. ------------------ I was led over to the other ben Mordecai's by my hero. "Oh Lailah!" Once again Michelle gushed over me. "How are you adjusting to Italian life?" I smiled gently - Michelle was definitely going to be the mother figure in my life. "Yes thank you Michelle. It's…let's say different from my usual Greek routine, but I'm sure I will become accustomed to your day-to-day activities." Suddenly I felt a sudden coldness on my shoulders. And then my brain clicked. My hero had left me. Wanting more. Again. I searched for him, but I could see not in the too bright sunlight. "If you will excuse me Michelle," I bid Michelle goodbye as I walked away to find one of my true friends. And sure enough, there was Tristan. "Hello Lailah!" Tristan practically sang, making me laugh. "Hello Tristan!" I replied in the same tone, which resulted in us laughing in unison. When the laughter had finally come to a minimum, Tristan began to make 'small talk' as they call it. "So, how was your night Lailah? Was your bed comfortable? Did you like your room? There's something that links you with the room. But I shall say no more." I laughed once more. I could tell that there was never a dull moment with Tristan by your side. Much like Drake. "Yes thank you Tristan. It was very satisfactory, and I loved my room. And, yes, I worked it out: the dresser and wardrobe are both the same colour as my eyes." "Mmm, very tactical of Holly, don't you think?" I nodded silently in agreement. "Well shall we?" he asked, gesturing towards the beach, where all of the rest of the relatives are. "Yes, let us go," I replied. And smiled. Things were about to get a lot more interesting. AN. Sorry this isn't very long guys! I was writing it in a rush, and I thought I might as well end it on that sentence. Just out of interest, please put a star ( * ) anywhere in your comment to show how many people actually read this Authors Note! But dont make it too obvious Now, I just wanted to update you on the publishing. I've decided NOT to publish it, as it is too much hassle, and it will cost money. Surviving the McCasey Sisters © Chapter 9, Part 2 ~Recount~ "Well shall we?" he asked, gesturing towards the beach, where all of the rest of the relatives are. "Yes, let us go," I replied. And smiled. Things were about to get a lot more interesting. ------------------ The rest of the day was wonderful. Drake, Tristan, Polla and I spent the majority of the day dipping our toes in the water. "So Lailah," Tristan began "Who's your favourite family member so far?" "Aw, it's got to be you Hun!" I said, pinching his cheeks. And then the impossible happened. I could of sworn that Tristan's eyes lit up. And he wasnt acting or joking. 'No, it's impossible,' I decided, 'it's a trick of the light.' "No really," I announced truthfully, "Every one of you have been so kind to me!" Drake, Polla and I all laughed as Tristan feigned mock disappointment. "Can I ask you a question though?" I asked. Drake nodded his head, as agreement, and as a sign to go on. "Is your house as glorious as the McCasey's? Because theirs is glorious, isn't it?" I suddenly blushed furiously, realising what I just said sounded utterly rude. But thankfully, nobody noticed my blush, or what I just said. "Yes. Our villa is, if not quite as large, just as well furnished. Maybe more so, in fact." Drake explained to me. "Tristan! Drake!" Polla almost shrieked, "Do you think I could possibly convince Mother to invite Lailah around our house?" "No, really you…" I was cut off by Tristan. "Yes, I think that she would think it reasonable," Tristan replied. Much to Lailah's delight. Her eyes shined with excitement, making Tristan, Drake and I chuckle. Drake ruffled Polla's hair, earning him a scowl, and a smack upside the wrist. Lunch was delicious too. It was an assortment of grapes, figs, watered wine, prunes and stuffed mushrooms ~AN. Personally, I dont really fancy any of this. Apparently this is what they used to eat. If you think you would like any of this, please mention so or not in your feedback comment~ Altogether, the whole experience really was amazing! But except for one thing: Izobel. All day, she was glaring daggers at me. I tried to ignore her, but felt so uneasy under her lingering gaze. What was I going to do? Just what was I going to do? AN. Hey guys! I THINK this is a bit longer than normal, but I'm not sure. It hasnt been proof-read, so I'm sorry for any mistakes. I wrote it in a rush, as I went to copy it all AND INSTEAD I DELETED IT ALL! And I'm on my iPod so I can't even undo it. Anyway, please feedback! And please feel sorry for me, as I'm getting hayfever, so I might not update for a while. Sorry! BYEEEEE!
