They have zero function in the game. They don't give any stats or plunder. That is what they were ranting about. In that context the stars literally do nothing.
Hehe, only messing with ya frog. I know what you meant and second that, I look forward to the challenge more then any reward, stars, or badge.
No problem Syl. I've got all your allies blocked so don't forget to drop your attack build before the war.
You mean they "functionally" do nothing, not "literally" do nothing. Back to grammar school with this noob.
You should go Google the definition. I enjoyed how you used the word actually as what I should of used when it's a synonym and interchangeable. Guess you're still butthurt that I corrected your terrible grammar when you called that guy out.
I'm not going to call you stupid because it isn't your first language. But, please, just stop as you're wrong.
Oh Google! That's definitive then. Sorry, noob, but I'll take the Oxford English dictionary over your google anyway. Just cause a bunch of you noobs like using words incorrectly doesn't make it right.
What do you think the source was that Google gave? What is the definition of literally ? In literal sense. So changing the word literal to it's definition the sentence then becomes: In literal sense they do nothing. Do you understand now how the word fits?
Literally means "exactly as is written or spoken" Example: "My bf took me literally when I said we should drop everything and go to Hawaii, by showing up at work, bags packed, wearing a Hawaiian shirt." The usage is correct here cause the bf is behaving exactly as was said. Mistaken use: "My uncle literally drove his car into the ground. ". Means my uncle took a backhoe, dug a big bloody hole, and then drove his car into it. This is not what the user means thus use of literally is incorrect. Also just because the teenage morons you hang out with keep saying "literally" all the time doesn't make them correct.
