@ ler. That is why we need a separate leader board for spies. Btw, since the devs originally designed spying to only supplement hitting, why is it do important for a spy to be on the lb anyway? If a spy wants to be on lb tell him to buy allies like hitters do.
Guys you know spy actions directly influences your overall leader board rank? Well now you know (I have confirmed this with many LB players)
Also remember that the top 50 have spent an insane amount of cash. A person in the top 20-50 in a 18 month period spent about 30,000 usd on his build, and spends about 300 usd a month to maintain it. I bet the top 10 put in about 50 000 The devs also reward vets. Lots of builds are there just because they gave been around so long.
I think there are some big name hitters that are getting screwed by this system. White knight is top 50 allies but barely ranks in the top 200. The dawnstar and bomanator examples for earlier in the thread are also good.
Philosopher you fool don't get smart, you have in fact missed the actual question I posed... Read my question again. Does anyone else have an actual answer to why the lb is predominantly attack build if spy actions are so vital?
@ insomniac. I think I answered it and I want not particularly being smart about it. The upper leaderboard is all rich boys spending serious cash on crystals and allies to keep them up. Where it gets interesting is the lower lb, where more modest money is spent and people are not using 24 crystals/ day. The op gives example of a 45-land hansel with only minimal allies but nevertheless ranks higher than her hlbc build with about 2 tril in allies. Why? Because the hansel is being rewarded for doing thousands and thousands of scouts/ assassins. While this is an accomplishment in itself, it should not then follow that the hansel should rank higher than the op, if the overall lb is indeed a show of the strongest kingdoms kaw as the devs claim it is.
The reason there are very few Spies on lb is most carry no allies. Romeo is the only Spy I can think of that was high on lb, he carried lots of Allies. It's strange RedStar is still number 1 after dropping Buildings and putting up Towers. @Philosopher, Metallicana hasn't even bought a ProPack and he's way up on the Overall lb, if they all spend so much to stay up there you'd think he'd at least buy 1 if he's spending $$$ on nobs and Xstals
As someone said on as earlier page Bomanator is top 20 in allies but not even top 200 overall. The thing I don't like is that the lb Achievement is for Overall lb, when really it doesn't show who is the strongest at all. It's a joke, overall should be Own build plus allies. There could be problems with that too, like you could be an Attack build with a bigger BFA in Spies than Attack.
Insomniac, spy builds get as many spy actions as attack builds. It's successful actions that count, not damage done.
@ Blair. I not sure about metalicana, but propacks don't affect the rank. Neither does any item that gives a % and not a weighted power. Resets then don't affect it either which is also stupid.
I wasn't saying that ProPacks affect the lb, I was just referring to your comment on all lb players spending thousands to stay there, it doesn't look like he's spent anything
Nun was the only one I know of 100% who made the lb without spending a dime. That was way back when though. I dunno who it could be now
