@Kyle all I can really say is write from your heart. In my opinion poetry doesn't always have to make scense. It just has to come from you. Hope this helps.

Irin#4 Just Begun One day I wasn't looking, and I stumbled to my past. I looked at all the memories, that sadly couldn't last. I looked at all the tears I spent, in the dark and cold, I herd of the laughs I had, that seemed so new, yet old. Then I took another turn and watched it all unfold, the wonders of my future, the choices I'll soon hold. And when it comes to end, I'll know I had some fun. By then I might be wiser, and know the journey's just begun.
