A chomo is a child molester. They separate them in most prison systems. Texas has units where they send them that houses other child molesters. It keeps them safe from other offenders. A chomo is the lowest form of inmate.

Well you should fix your grammar first of all, also I think (stats may be wrong) 90% of people in US prisons are there for drug related crimes, so not necessarily the worst people. Humans are physically and mentally meant to talk and interact with other people and things. I think it's a cruel and unusual punishment for people to have to go through.

Prison is punishment for criminals too stupid n get caught. Jail is what inmates make of it. Rehab is a choice for them to choose. Unaccountable ppl can rot for all i care if unwilling to change.
It sounds like a program known as CISP in Australia. Though it happens before being in prison. It aims to understand why and what contributes to people offending and reoffending. I think I spoke about it on page 2.
In the USA , prison systems are big money , that's why most are privately owned now...ofc the are not trying to rehabilitate you, they want you to come back.
You are correct, 90% of the prison population are in for non violent crimes. There are also a lot of ghost trials and minimum sentencing that screw up peoples lives.
Are you daft? Of course it's for rehabilitation, or else how would those who murdered someone, (and come out of Prision) know not to kill someone again. In Australia we have a system based on good behavior. And we focus on rehab instead of punishment.
