  1. Yes that is a strongly believed among psychologist and scientist in the field of sleep study. But unless new discoveries have been made in the last couple of years it's just the best and most sound theory. It is documented thst sleep definitely assist in solidifying memory though. It's actually good to study up for test and such about an hour before sleep. So long as your not over tired.

  2. Regardless, sleep is an interesting thing.

  3. Indeed

  4. Deep sleep is a series of cycles, rem is just a signifier of one some or all phases of deep sleep I am using this term deep sleep a bit awkwardly yes but that's to not confuse people about all the subtle varieties between awake and sleep which the body doesn't allow you to move

    All in all

"Sleep paralysis tends to first appear in the teen years. It then occurs most often when you are in your 20s and 30s. It may continue into your later years. It is not a serious medical risk."

    That is all.

  5. Sleep on your back facing a wall

  6. This happened to me very often. Sleep Paralysis occurs when your sleep schedule is cked up. This mainly happens to teenagers ranging from 14-20. Sleep paralysis is NOT harmful at all. Basically, your body fell asleep before you do. This happens when you're tired. It occours when you start sleeping or when you're about to wake up. It could last from a minute to two. I could totally relate to your situation. Everytime I have sleep paralysis, I try to shake myself off because I feel like a demon is watching over me. I try not to fight this when this happens and just let myself fall to sleep.

  7. If a moderator said it, it must be true

  8. It's just a glitch that sometimes happens when they have to reboot your section of the matrix.

  9. Thank's for the info, I'll start wearing my alien proof tin foil hat before I sleep now.

  10. I have experienced that, however a more cat like figure scratched my stomach until it bled.

  11. Do you own a cat or feline?

  12.
  13.
  14. I've experienced this once during my high school years.

I opened my eyes and happened to be facing my digital clock which said it was 3 am, but rapidly woke up clear when I figured out I wouldn't move. Nothing worked other than moving my eyes

I was pretty scared not gonna lie but it never happened again after

  15. Had this happen a few times. It took me awhile but your actually still sleeping. Once you realize that you can control the dream. As for the figure in the corner. Sleep with the lights on lol. Seriously though this only happens to me during stressful periods of my life. Learn how to manage your stress levels and always try to go to bed relaxed.

  16. Agreed happen to me had to see a therapist. Honestly when you first expiernce it's so damn scary really thought I was dead.

  17. Daily occurrence for me you become good at learning how to blink your eyes or cough to wake up. I'm not sure what causes it it used to freak me out but happens so much I don't really pay attention to it

  18. I've had it before. I'm rather a strong believer in the supernatural: so it freaked me out. I couldn't move for 5 minutes even tho wide awake, and it felt like something crawling up my bed and then "sat" on my back. I was face down. Then suddenly "it" was gone and I could move.

  19. Yes it happened to me a couple of times. Tried calling, shouting but my body just won't move. I could see some people moving about in the room, hear them opening doors etc and its very very scary . In my place people say it is the work of witches and spirits.
