It was fun. I enjoyed watching KAW society decline into chaos and single-minded selfishness. Proves my theories of social organization being a step away from rabid baboons.
The event was cool but the politics where silly.Like this clan cant hit that clan or nobody can hit zaft or apoc because of cf blah blah blah.Funny pham won(teeny weeny) didnt think he was a pvp guy i remember he ran from most recent zaft apoc war...Any how if all large alliances could put there butthurt and egos aside it would be more fair and thats in our control not the devs really.
there needs to be something though. not nessasariely that method, but maybe a dtw timer. if in possession of an item/spell such as the sword, then after x amount of time you automatically are open to hits again until fully zero'd.
I didn't have a problem with people opting out - ( to each their own). But, there should've been a penalty for opting out- like a 50% reduction in eb plunder and not being allowed to hire allies
Good point and i agree,I know people cant be on all day and there are just casual social players but opting out should carry a ally hiring and plunder penalty as the as the event and please fix the pure spy mechanic
I don't think a penalty should apply but I do think they should only be able to hire allies from others who opted out. I had no problem with the PS mechanics. Each player should play to their strengths.
It was a turtling event where the object was to see who could hit who the fastest coming out of pin. I enjoyed the event the first couple days, but as it began to wind down and everyone tried to hang onto their shards, it became increasingly difficult to find anyone that wasn't dtw.
I liked the event but agree some notice and maybe an opt in instead of opt out which could allow just people who opted in like you to show in battle list also 4 days would have been alot better as it was extremely intense but great fun also would like to see one like it with bfa turned off to even out the playing field. I admit I would hit smaller accts that payed well that had less bfa or stats as shards were the reason for farming. Or another way to allow the range of attacks and steal to be calculated to be closer matchups with each other. But much respect to those that fought hard and didnt whine about bigger people hitting them. Good first pvp event kaw
I really liked the part when Bobby Brady thought by hanging on the swing set would make him a little bit taller. It's crazy what short people will do when you make fun of them.
Really enjoyed this event. For the future? 1. For me personally this event was too long. Made tons of shards over the weekend, lost them during the week. Unfortunately I'm superbusy at work . AN weekend long event would suits me much better. 2. For future events like this I'd like to see an opt-in instead opt-out. Or atleast the effects of opt-out spells to be changed. No shards drops would be more than enough. 1week protection against all hits is ridiculous in my opinion. 3. Maybe the sword spell to be a permant feature for BL hits? Like this those who enjoy 1vs1 more than estoc wars will have their chance to stockpile mithril and therefore to unlock decent equipments from alchemist.
Overall for being a new event I think this was pretty awesome! Although it was a bummer that people didn't get to bank, I think the pop up surprise was actually what made it thrilling. Having to strategize how you will bank your gold or spend it. If people keep expecting to know when it'll happen then it may get boring pretty quick... IF there's going to be an opt out spell, it should cost more than the spell to hold the blade in clan. I don't think it was fair for 1 hour of spell for 59 nobs and I think it was more harsh then people being scared and opting out costing them pretty much nothing. After all this is a war game. I think they should have paid way more and spent money just as we have spent money to keep buying Nobility points to keep the spell going. Also The days should be shorten. I think 3-4 days is good. And P.S. Kotfe Assassins were bombtastic! Had so much fun with them in this event.
