  1. If that's the case the government has to take out millions of people. Doesn't seem sinister at all...definitely wouldn't be protested...

  2. I was referring to iraq, afgahnistan. Killing there own is a daily way of life there. They dont give a damn about life. My son fought there and i am glad he came back in one piece. Im to old to have went or i would have sent as many as could to see alla. I dont condone what the military did as they didnt have time to sift through all the dirt to find the clean ones. I feel for all my fellow americans who didnt come home alive or whole. So in the broud sense feeling for one national doesnt even get me to watch the u tube video. Guess the press is short on crap to show or report on.

  3. If there is hard concrete proof that you are a terrorist and have committed acts like bombings, ied placements and beheadings than I have no problem with torture. I day put them all on an island like the English did when they sent their prisoners to Australia. Send them to a place with nothing and if they survive they survive. But the place should be a highboardered island that they can't escape. Cheapens prison costs.

  4. Do you have a source for that?

  5. So let's say shaker is innocent, does that mean the guards who held him captive should be tortured for their acts of torture on an innocent man for years?

  6. Only if there is concrete evidence. In this case there was NO real evidence.

  7. Hmmm. You would send as many as you could to Allah? Wow.

  8. Shaker aamer was captured by bounty hunters in Afghanistan what was he doing there? Have a jolly old holiday or what?

  9. He was a charity worker.

  10. That's what he says being a charity worker would be a great in.

  11. "Charity worker" that's a great cover story for a terrorist.

  12. He was suspected of leading a unit of fighters in the country, for which his family was said to have been regularly paid by Osama bin Laden. Years later the Bush administration would admit that it had no evidence against him.

The weakness of the case was never formally tested, because he was never charged with any wrongdoing, and received no trial.

Mr Aamer grew up in Medina in Saudi Arabia, and left the country aged 17.

After spells in the US, Europe and the Middle East - including working as a translator for the US during the Gulf War - he settled in the UK.

He married British woman Zin Siddique in 1997, and they have four children, including one - born during his incarceration - who he has never met.

The child, a boy named Faris, is now a teenager.

He took his family to Afghanistan in 2001 where he was working for an Islamic charity until his capture soon after the US invasion.

After falling into US hands, he was transported to the infamous Guantanamo Bay complex in 2002 where he has been known as prisoner 239 ever since.

  13. Can you prove he's a charity worker OP?

  14. Sky news verified. He even helped the US in the Gulf war.

  15. My extract from SKY news.

  16. You do realize 50% of what the media tells us is a bunch of bull right?

  17. Prove he was a charity worker and it wasn't just a cover story

    Obvious terrorist is obvious.

  18. Yes. A news outlet like SKY news are experienced enough not to release false information on such a high profile news story.

  19. They also have no evidence that Osama bin laden was anything to do with 9/11 wouldn't of gone to court for it doesn't mean influence didn't come from him or he had direct links to it just can't be proved.
