Season 5 - Ally Hires

  1. I couldn't agree more.

  2. Yes thats true. So others dont blame us ps if we war as hansel. Good point 

  3. Me hitting tanker > 250mil. Lose x2 troops. And the possibility of Losing an Attack is high.
Me hitting Hansel/PS1 > 340mil. No Pots. Lose x1 troops.

At start 5 hybrids att No pots on Hansel/PS1 > 1.7bil. 5 hybrids at 95% troops and in less than 5mins, regen back to 100% troops.
    Minimum* 4 waves > 1.36bil.
Exclude Hansel/PS1 able to xtal and effectively dumping the troops. And exclude Hansel/PS1 with plunder being KOed.

In total 3.06bil is given away by the Hansel/PS1 in War.
Question: Can the Hansel/PS1 in my tier gain plunder of 3bil to just breakeven?

PS dun leak if they have No Gold out. Their spy actions is faster without considering to dump troops. Thus making PS more effective then Hansel/PS1.

My assumption maybe incorrect so Need your advice on the above.

  4. Okay OP, here's my thoughts

You said entirely disable ally hires.

    No lol

Maybe during war, yeah. But if there is not an active warm-up or war going on, then allies are fair game. I understand being stripped right before war starts, that's annoying. But if there isn't a war going on, then let the market be free. BE FREE LITTLE MARKET 

  5. Couldn't agree more with a true EE war champion

  6. Mechs allow it... Why so much argument? How can it be dubbed a cheap move? Is it a cheap move for and lb10 to att an lb 100? Moral standards shouldn't be judged or imposed, Just play within the boundaries and consider anything possible within the arena of ee and events.
PS will just have to fight with a higher standard. There have been many wars where ps were stripped and the side didn't win in S4. And it definitely isn't a sure win today.

  7. Sabotage and betrayal are also elements of war... As much as I hate it, it happens in real life too which we all struggle to accept; this game from an angle of war, alliances, politics, gains, losses, friendships, hatred is as real as it gets.

I'd say keep it real!! That's why we love this game.

Scrabble and bejewel are less harsh than real life and may be better suited for some.

  8. I'm ss all PS allies in my tier. I couldn't care less about the so called 'morals' of war. I've endured years of manipulating rosters, the GH and sh trends. I have many ally ss already of PS on my tier and I will open any up when the time is right. I will not feel one ounce of guilt over it. If u don't like it war as a hansel. If it is against any so called rules then devs will disable any ally hires. Until this happens its all within the boundries of a fair war. It's using the mechanics of the game.

  9. People just need to adjust. Reverse stripping is a lost art form, have a game plan in place and use the new funds for your benefit. I've never been a fan of pure spies anyway, a build
You cannot even attack, so I admit my viewpoint may be a tad skewed. But if people want to use the benefits of a full spy, they have to live with the downsides as well, it's part of the game.

  10. IMO if all of you see stripping as legitimate then why is everyone moaning and groaning about moles ?

  11. Thank you everyone for your contributions to this thread. It makes for an interesting debate. Much of which is lacking in Kaw so I appreciate you taking the time to voice your various opinions.

Keep the thread classy please and enjoy the read!

  12. You're definition of s hansel is outdated and wrong. A hansel is any build that displays hansel mechanics. A person can have 10mil attack and still display hansel mechanics.

What do I mean by hansel mecs? A build is a hansel if it is dtw to attack from tank builds with no gold out.

A ps1 is a ps that has only one very small attack building that it occasionally drops depending on the occasion.

There is no logical reason to refuse to acknowledge the difference between a ps1 hansel and other Hansels. That's like getting mad at a guy calling a dog a poodle instead of just a dog.

  13. No offense, but I'd rather have a big attack build like you hit and plunder other big builds instead of cherry picking off ps1.

Too many big builds go for these smalls, weaken themselves, then get plundered and KOed by the enemy cause they were low troops.
At 60m cs, you are not helping your team by sitting on ps1 builds.

During ASW, I had all my ps go ps1, some enemies told me how easy they were to hit, I then told them how easy it was to ko them after they wasted troops on our ps1.

  14. That sounds like an argument for CC spammers, moles, and friends intentionally opening up for friends on the other side of a war-btw all of which I suppose are within the mechs of the game.

  15. Another in denial... These things happen and devs nor governments in real life can't fix everything; live with it.

  16. No Offence. I would Att x1 No pots then ZS the PS1. If I am not skim then within less than 5mins I will regen back to full. I alone will have already taken 340mil. If 5 hybrids did the same that will be approx 1.7b easily. At 95% troops on our tier, I dun think I will be an easy skim. Pass or Fail Att on me will burn 10-9% troops except those who manage to do an overwhelming Att (5% troop loss).

I'll continue to repin on PS1 x1 hit No pots, getting another easy plunder. Only losing 5% troops and still maintaining troops high. I still can Att on Skim target if I choose wisely my timing of skim - always try to get that overwhelming Att, losing at most 5% troops (when skim is low troops) if I am not full regen. So cc reporting of skim win/lose and sct winnings % is useful to me.

Therefore looking at a 25pax War roster (1hr) in our TIER, I do not see how PS1 can be useful compare to a PS if they bleeds. And ppl starts to use PS1 recently due to the strip issue and not because of war strategy. Unlike your PS1 deployment in ASW which I think is brilliant as it fits well into the strategy.

Again please note that the above perspective is based on our tier only. Other tiers will have a totally different understanding.

Anyway just sharing. Happy Kawing :)

  17. I see your point here, however unlike spammers, moles, etc, the stripped ps is partially responsible for what happens to him. He could have prevented being stripped if he dropped allies, cast hidden, or went ps1.

To me, it seems ps want the luxury of warring without being hit, and I don't see why we must artificially grant them that.

  18. @ Shinigami

That's an ideal situation you're porpoising. Real war rarely works like that. Seriously, how many ps1 have troops and gold out to repin on?

  19. No need Gold just have troops out is enough. I may not be getting all the Att pin but the rest of other hybrids will get it if everyone is aware how much PS1 bleeds.

  20. Min troop loss hittin PS1 n overall more plunder but 2x hit at start is only needed. Stay high to absorb hits from Ops tanks.
