Think outside the attack dest! It's not the attacking back and forth that increase inflation, it's the stripping someone and attacking the majority of the gold back that creates inflation! Purchase a 1 tril ally and suddenly the account is paying massive amounts back to you, that's inflation!
Let's look at it this way, this idea is to do what? 1) Provide newer players a chance to grow via PvP, 2) Incentivize PvP gameplay, 3) Take away event items, and 4) Help create plunder to keep up with other methods of gold gain. All of this is given in the OP and throughout the comments. 1 is ridiculous. Newer players can't make gold off of PvP. Period. 2 does work and it will create more interest to OSW KNOWING that you have opportunities to get good allies AND make gold back. 3 is just a poor idea. In no way shape or form should a player be able to take another's items away without consent. If you created a coliseum type of arena where players risk items, that's a different story but doing it to those unknowingly is just wrong. 4 is incorrect as well. Unless an individual has an insane amount of gold out, 500mil an attack for 20 attacks is only 10bil which is what an HtE pays and to get the 500 mil an attack requires 1 tril gold out which isn't going to happen on a regular basis. Face the facts here, who is inclined to just leave even 100bil out in liquid? The only time plunder is gained enough to matter is during strips. That's the only way a constant flow of reliable plunder can happen which means there will be a massive increase in ally prices overall. All of that points to this item needing a serious change of gameplan to it. It could have potential and that's a very loose could but it needs to be molded differently.
