Actually the lb just outside the top 10 will be leading cause when top 5 lb cast they always get put on opp team with stacked lb and basically a very high % of a win.
So all of those ppl doing 2 a day r no further ahead or behind of each other r they? Somebody has to win
Earlier post by MyPouf lacks many things. Who says the top 100 pp will all have at least 100 medallions? Talk of tiers rewards is only relevant if presuming many more ppl war bucking the trend of ASW n offseason EE numbers. ASW had approx 960 ppl war in total. That diminished by 1/2 each round. IWar up to 400 on the best day in a war slot. Too early to presume how many ppl S5 draws on a regular or average basis. Any guesses? Who can positively guarantee it takes 100 medallions to crack top 100 reward tier? Its conceivable Tier 5 can be easier to get than Tier 4 if participation is not as high as the devs presume or the community lacks the interest after such a long wait. The 3 bonuses play a significant role for top 100 n the carrot most will chase at times if they can n especially as the seasons nears its end. Top 10 will be for the EE War addicts I'm sure n that prolly surprises nobody
There will be a small percentage of people that get lucky and win almost every war. And the good ones on those teams will be top plunder KO and actions. I'd bet top ten end up with nearly 1k by sheer luck of the draw. Yes statistically over the entire sample size it's 50/50, but in a small sample of 100 players there will be those just winning and those just losing.
You can get 100 medals and lose every war. Do 50 wars -50, top 3 in all 3 bonus catagories +150. Net +100
Wars are 50/50. Your calculations are kinda misleading. I'm sure some ppl will win or lose more than 50% of their wars. But taking that into consideration If you war 1x a day with 50% chance of win or loss = ~6 medals a week & ~28 medals for season 2x a day = ~14 medals/week & ~56 medals/season 3x a day = ~20 medals/week & ~84 medals/season 4x a day = ~28 medals/week & ~112 medals/season This is not including bonus medals
The concept of losing a medallion in a loss is unfair. If you want to encourage players to join, losing EE is enough. losing a medallion just kills. Assume a 50% success rate with Indi wars, it will take far more than 34 wins of 3 medallions each to get to 100 medallions. Each loss removes one medallions. To reach 100 medallions, need need a minimum of 34 wins (0 losses). More realistically it will take the following. See the attached chart.
If I had to guess, just like with past events, they'll increase drop rate for the last few days/week to endure more participation from those in the struggle for top spots and the others desperately trying to hit a smaller goal but can't war often
