Well it could be argued that without guns. Isis would not be such a threat. Would they? No guns certainly less refugees. Hence the need for armed intervention by a globally united world force. To end a terrorist threat forcing millions to flee their home nation.
No. If you want to talk about global disarmament make a proper thread. Otherwise you are technically off topic, and inviting derailment. If you want to work refugees into a global disarmement thread that is your prerogative. Otherwise you are working against spreading information on a global crisis.
Information spread kinda pointless by now. If you havent heard about the mass of people illegally flooding EU countries then you don't watch the news or don't care.
Except that's not the whole sorry situation. It's not even half of it. The vast majority of the refugees are still in places like Jordan and Lebanon. They are still struggling to survive while the attention is on the thousands of people walking across Central Europe. Nor are they all illegal migrants there are many refugees mixed amongst them and they are due the legal protections that various countries signed on to provide. The flood of refugees won't stop till the Middle East is somehow made safer to stay in. The countries hosting millions of refugees need more assistance to allow people to stay there safely. The conflicts ripping Syria and Iraq need to be resolved somehow either politically or militarily, while trying to give the people something to hope for.
No one will send in their military to fight there. Not again. Hell organizations like the Taliban wouldn't exist if it hadn't been for hostile armies invading. If my memory is right, the Taliban was originally a force created to force Russians out of some Middle Eastern country. They need to solve the issue themselves. No more outside help, no more guns sent in, troops lost saving them, none of that. Sit back, and watch them destroy themselves. It has to happen.
No Castile the mujahideen were the Arab and afghan people fighting with American support to drive the Russians from Afghanistan. The organisation know as al Qaeda had grown up as a part of the mujaheddin. Sadly after the Russian defeat they were left with out much aid and the country descended in violent multi factional civil war. Al Qaeda had left Afghanistan and was based in Sudan. They had offered to help Saudi to defend themselves against Iraq following the invasion of Kuwait. The offer was rebuffed instead the ruling Saudi family chose to have infidel westerns defend the holy cities which caused great offence within the mujahideen. During the 90's they'd moved some operations to Afghanistan with the support of the Taliban who were the then dominant faction in the country.
Global coalition equals disarmament debate = derailing. How ? Where's your logic shok? If Isis were disarmed forcefully ( no call for global disarmament there just a terror faction) then no need for refugees. Like I have said all along. The only thing that will resolve this is a global coalition ending the conflict. With the resources left in place for the locals to support themselves as the coalition forces withdraw. Without action being taken nothing will get resolved. Mass migration will damage many nations economies as well as traditions. Including destroying the culture of the refugees forced to integrate. The militia groups there are committed. Yet very poorly trained and equipped. They will not win by themselves. Militia on foot fighting against fortified positions is pointless without armoured help. If future generations are going to get a semblance of peace. Action must be taken sooner than later. And nations leaders need to step up.
Here. I guess this is on topic in the spirit of the thread. Whatever idc. Talk about whatever you want. You obviously are smarter and better equipped for the conversation. Smh
Yes. We have two threads to talk about this on. Don't hold your breath. One is purposely a junk thread for off topic conversation revolving around this topic. Back to troll life. Screw you guys, I'm gonna troll.
^Hee, you know i watched his Alaska trip, he did a vlog. He could do a outdoor traveling show on discovery or something. I also kept challenging Pres. Obama to a 1 on 1 basketball game. For years. If I thought he would look, I was there. He is into social media...so. Something like this... Lace em up BoRock, right in the eye son. Random challenges he was too scared to accept. My jump shot would give him a black eye. The closes I got to a response was him admitting he was too old to ball. Publicly. I'll always believe that was him bowing down to my superior basketball skill.
Simple solution: Invade the countries refugees are fleeing from and clean everything up. If they don't have to flee we can make them leave with a clean conscience.
Simple because going by the 2003 Iraqi invasion that all turned out super well. Lets not forget that the Syrian government is backed by Russian military equipment and Russian diplomatic efforts, so you think that's going to go down well ? Excuse me Vlad old buddy we are just gonna invade Syrian territory that ok ? I know you blocked the UN efforts two years ago but I'm just sure it's all better now ?? Also the Iranian government and I'm sure they've got no interest in seeing the USA put combat troops on their borders again. Then there's the multitude of rebel factions who are fighting Assad's army and Isis supplied by the gulf states and others. If you wanted to try and take the ground you'd need so much force, and it wouldn't be a quick or easy victory expect to be there a generation and see thousands on coffins going home.
