Easiest way to attack KaW inflation is to strip people. Want people to stop hoarding allies? Take the allies and the gold. Edit; Just read some comments and Cynder beat me to it.
I agree that there is inflation. I have never had so many ally hires as I have the last few months, prices are skyrocketing (just look at LB) - the extra promos and HTE and ZTA has left too much gold in KaW. For BC players, or close to BC, allies are the only thing to sink your gold into. While I agree there is inflation, I don't agree about using silver bars to UG equip. Silver/bronze bars can be a great help for those of us who aren't BC. And BC/LB max their equip pretty easily. There needs to be another mechanism of KaW to sink gold into. Extra lands and builds right now I don't think are the answer. I think someone said something about mercenaries once? I don't have the answer but I think using silver bars to UG might disadvantage players that are not BC and like the bit of extra gold for lands and builds.
Now I do agree that inflation is reduced by strip farming, but there is a disportionate amount of people willing to do that over an hte. Also, bc players can max equip out with or without having a sliver bar option so this idea was more or less my way of upgrading things easier so people can have better bfe in wars along with reducing total gold out. What about an option that allows people to pay full aqua/inferno or a reduced aqua/inferno with silver bars. Then the people who think it's a sham can save for months to ug equipment while other builds have the opportunity to grow bfe easier.
I thought your main idea was for it to reduce inflation...? And if BC players don't have to use silver bars to UG, that won't help inflation. It will do the opposite. You can use silver bars to buy inferno...you sell them and go buy inferno. It's unlikely devs will remove needing xtals for aqua. Not sure what your point was about people thinking it's a sham? Lol.
What KaW needs is a completely dynamic overhaul of the combat system to match the card battling apps, the DoTA-esque team building apps, and S.M.A.S.H. (their own creation for example). This way, combat isn't about "who has the best build," but who has the best mix against the enemy mix rock-paper-scissors style, but with a bunch of combinations so it's not that simple for most (especially when each piece requires steps to obtain, ignoring event-only variants). That would be the new gold sink rather than another stop-gap expansion of lands or buildings. Towards how to move KaW in that direction while still keeping current mechanics, that's for another topic. Anything else that doesn't eventually put KaW in the above position just delays the problem, or doesn't really fix it IMO.
The devs should just reset everyone's gold to 0, drop everyone's allies, and get rid of their items. Then, everyone can start on equal terms! As bad of an idea this is, it would be hysterical to watch the panic of everyone
You say that inflation is a bad thing however it is better than deflation and plunder will probably increase as inflation happens
How about after every hire the profit is auto banked in bars. Like when u have a savings deal in ur checking account and the remaining dollar is rounded and deposited in savings.
All opinions are welcome. Just trying to spark any form of creative ideas by the community in hopes that devs find alternative inflation solutions.
Put your device in the microwave for 5-10 seconds it will cleanse it from all malware and recharge it
I think anything that urges a player to spend some gold should be expanded or have some more variety: mithril spells, banner upgrades, "taxes" for equipment upgrade, taxes for leaving a clan, taxes for joining a clan, eb that uses 2-3 pots. You name it, there are many choices.
