You choose your build. Now that it's proven to be an imbalanced build and they have no teeth you want refunds.
Do not suppot any special treatment for rebuilds. Do not see the need. The gold difference is not that great if u built gh in the first place. The gh benefits would have more than funded any transition cost. You will no be behind another player of equal skill and activity after the change. If you changed literally last week...well...that probably sux, but you should have seen change coming. Suggest that you just enjoy implementing your next strategy. Whatever way you choose, you will have earned it yourself.
Well the tower builds got refunded so I don't see why it isn't possible for anyone who sells a guild for limited time gets 100% of the building cost back, they wouldn't be able to recreate there original build yet the BFE they made will compensate, but for those like myself who have no war equipment I can understand why people are upset. Tough luck I guess, should've saved up like I did
... Everyone gets refunded when buildings are sold... Of course it helps if you're not selling 49 TIER 1 buildings... MoAn!!
Stereotypical GH: 45-50 lands, massive BFE, massive plunder, exploitive hitting large builds, cheater While a lot of GHs fit into at least one of those above, you have to remember people come onto forums everyday as they're starting out and ask for advice. GH, known for plunder, is recommended. These players haven't reached the high lands most of the time. They don't have equipment. They don't hit large builds. They aren't trying to cheat or exploit(take advantage of the system). They don't know to look back in news and foresee the nerf of GHs(as word suggested in another thread). These people had no idea what was coming, and how is it fair to wreck the build that everyone glorified without at least giving back the money they were fooled into spending? You guys make it out like "these GHs can't get their money back, they earn tons of it!", and "well it's not like GHs don't make that money in a day", and "why should they get reimbursed for exploiting?" When in reality you have GHs hitting tfo at 9m a hit and don't make 25b, 50b a day. I'm sure me and the rest of the GHs that make a suitable amount of money a day could care less, but it's for those who don't. You get me? Modo, you can only build t1 on low lands.
Tower builds were never given a hint of changes to mechanics coming. Plus there is difference between a guild and a t4/t5 build. Those actually cost more than what you would make in hitting and eb for 20 minutes
I am going to add to some good points that Jac made about new players. New players who went gh did so to grow fast, and to war. Assuming you did at least one of these, you benefited from opening up mor lands faster than what you might otherwise done. You might have gained war equip benfefits. Im sure you had fun doing it. My alt sure did. Given all that...i see no cause for compensation.
I'm not sure if we share the same idea of new. A new person should have more than low lands. A new person should have hooves and a origin helm, at best. These players haven't been GH for long enough to benefit from it.

Im a GHT, yes we GH do get heaps of gold, It's the end resault that pays, not during the eb, the end result is higher than a hansel's end resault and hits in eb. I have to admit that's a very powerful argumentitive essay, we shouldn't be refunded for tge following reasons: 1. We were given 1 week to change. Not 0 nano-secs 2. It makes the other warring side of kaw's noob rage feel happier. 3. Thus I.D.C!!!! 4. You've got a bit of noob rage. 5. it balances the buildings 6. Unless they do it 1 by 1 taking weeks, delaying new things being released, eg. The bone ebs, and the planning of new things, or Instantly refund every guild at once while taking a while to make and install that… IT'S PRACTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE!! Just sell and get the % back… REMEMBER IM A GH, So im not a hansel spreading noob rage and not here to support the refund.
I have to admit, your argument is better. Screw the ones who were told to change into a doomed build because the ones who were already in the build had gotten their fair share of gold and equipment. Besides, kaw can afford to lose the potential customers that will quit. Also, what's with the caps?
