Personally I find adt on a hansel kinda silly and mostly useless

 

It's for OSW most the time

 

I osw without adt, attack builds still get through, I prefer a higher spy attack for getting through on big strips. And sdt or adt no one attack strips  as a hansel not much you can do to stop attacks. Just keep plunder higher for quick gold production

 

It's kinda Anti Hansel hansel, not saying either is better it's just the reasoning some people do

I'll just use my spies on a hansel build with adt, mine will get through his won't. And his attack stats will be just as low. Just pin on eb to make gold to strip and voila problem solved

 

I agree I would prefer traditional hansel, but it can help fend of Smalls and hansels on troops so it does have some pros

 

In this day and age of kaw towers are nearly useless. Unless you have basically all towers, people will get through. Better of not killing plunder for quick recovery and growth. I shake my head when I see small hansels with 2-5 mil sdt. Especially when they barely have that in spy attack. Do they realize how much a bc hansel makes with few towers ?

 

But when the build is finished I have more than enough spy def to stop a good amount of your hits while also having enough adt that I have had BC go 0/6 on me in the past. It's enjoyable when few people can consistently hit you successfully
