Oh undoubtably one of the best threads in kaw, needs to be archived..

 

Support to OP and I'd love to see more banning. Some threads would only be 30 pages instead of 300 with all the copies posts. I read the same post page after page in a thread. Mods...break those ban hammers.

 

The purpose of quoting is more or less to give context to your replies and make having a discussion on the forums easier. Yes, some people do abuse it by quoting a person while not providing ANY additional content or reason for the quote. This does count as spam, and you can be banned for it.

If you're quoting, there should be a reason for the quote, and your post should in some way further the discussion.

 

Kaw_comm, is there a way you could remove the quote feature from the original post of a thread?

 

That would probably work, and if anybody has any issues just make the quote button for an OP put "@op" lol. Then again I don't think ata owns the forums, so they might have to put in a special request or something.

 

All the bans inferno throwing out they prob had to make sure he wasnt pulling a ( i forget the old mods name that silenced half a clan vets know who) lol
