Besides..with my build, if I have no money I can't be hit except by hansels. If troops drop below 20% (which I always sp) I can't be attked/asn. And since I have 2 attk builds if my troops and spies go below 20% I can ONLY be scouted. Furthermore, a pure spy is a one trick pony which will most likely be scout bombed by the attk builds with barely any spy stats and pinned constantly. Also, without the bonus from allies like hansel has, it is pretty much dead weight. If it keeps allies it becomes a potential OSF for enemy clan.
Errr... Word? Not to take sides, but the technical definition of a hansel IS less than 25% troops. It may not be as effective of a hansel, but it still technically is.

anyone can self pin. that isn't a special hansel ability. also a hansel can quickly convert back if/when troops are needed. a osf'd hansel is not an osf. that land should stay open for a troop building during active hours.

Say I'm fighting a HLBC t5 pure spy with same equip/enchants as me. I already match his spy stats becuz of the allies I hold, and he has none. And if he does I slow strip him and use him as a pin cushion. The only advantage pure spy has over hansel is the ability to be a super noob and strategy-less and maintain a sort of effectiveness as it cannot lose anything.

again, an osf'd hansel should always have the ability to convert back when needed. if you are simply willing to forgo the bfa, the build becomes much stronger.
