Re: Potions For Dummies (COMPLETE) That's no hint! All I'm thinking of related to pots....is....spending pots in EBs or pot burning!
Re: Potions For Dummies (COMPLETE) Of course it's a hint. Once you figure out what it is, you'll understand
Re: Potions For Dummies (COMPLETE) My question is there a formula for how much gold you get at the end of an EB for each potion? Or do you have that and im misreading. Thanks
Re: Potions For Dummies (COMPLETE) Um...partially. And there does not seem to be a "set" amount per pot nor for point of damage from what I've gathered.
Re: Potions For Dummies (COMPLETE) the only pot I know of, is in forgotten ones a guy about my size gets about 2.5mil back per bribery gem. pretty good considering each one costs 60k. however in haunting, a HCBC does like 4x more damage per item with the same seal of deflection, so damage is still based on your stats
Re: Potions For Dummies (COMPLETE) do you say partially because it also pertains to attack troops? and I don't know if there actually is a formula for damage done with pots, but it's directly related to your cs
Re: Potions For Dummies (COMPLETE) When doing eb's apart from the item attacks, does using pots make a difference to the damage done and or troops lost? Do you select all pots or is there a specific combination that works for certain eb's? And is it worth it do you get a higher reward? Probably a stupid question, but I thought I'd ask to be sure. And when you find out what's missing I just gots to know. Good post for noobs like myself
Re: Potions For Dummies (COMPLETE) Well I understand that using a pot that an EB calls for gets you more gold at the end. But what if say on every assa u use a sleeping pot to increase your spy attack. Does that also increase end EB gold or not worth it?
Re: Potions For Dummies (COMPLETE) Gin here, ok, I'll try to answer your question as good as I can. Regardless of how many troops you use, you do the same damage up until your out of troops (or lose). First you have to figure out your lowest troop cost. I usually hit in EB until that starts to go up. Then I use a pot. Pots reduce your troops spent thanks to the extra attack, and depending on the BTA of the potion, your damage might also come up. I haven't done tons of calculating, so I don't know any specific combination.

Sleeping Potion isn't very powerful, so it might not increase your damage.
