  1. So the pope needs a government grant ? You sir are an idiot.

You think that there's a massive conspiracy to support science backed by government money ? Because that's a likely scenario. Have you actually looked at the money scientists make ? It's really not huge sums . Or is it shills for business interests who seem to be pushing the anti climate change ideas ?

  2. Let's go back to basic chemistry o3 is bad when it is low lying which will cause acid rain but when it is higher up in the atmosphere it actually repairing the ozone layer

  3. Not huge sums just a 15000$ to see how much Co2 your backyard grill makes

  4. To feed plants CO2 according to you.
    Heck the plants r starving.

Tell us why all the concern over Brazilian rain forests being cut down?

  5. I'm pretty sure acid rain is caused by sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxides not ozone. Ozone can cause difficulties with breathing but it's not a direct cause of acid rain. So score one for the basic chemistry

  6. Pretty sure o3 causes smog which causes acid rain

  7. Tha don where did you get that biology degree from ?!?
Because surely the causes of acid rain and the effects it has on the biology of a region would be pretty important.

Or would this be the same place as the engineering degree of Joe Barton who said wind is a finite resource.

  8. Humans create smog.

U look at Beijing or Mexico City lately?

  9. Back to your methane

Methane is only 1800 parts per billion while co2 is 390 parts per million which means methane is only a small part of the green house gases

Methane is a naturally occurring by product from marine animals that live in a low oxygen climate

  10. Low lying o3 which is ozone is smog

  11. Oh so specific to select places on earth only it appears.
So how did Beijing reduce smog for the Olympics pray-tell? Huge fans?

  12. That's where most of the methane comes from there are pockets of methane that surround natural gas

  13. Methane is produced by land dwelling animals as well.

Eg cow dung n our own sewage
Sewage treatment plants recover methane in tanks with floating lids n re-used.
    Don't tell me u don't fart.

  14. That is insignificant compared to the marine animals that produce methane

  15. Written by the US EPA...EPA.gov

Global Warming Potential (GWP): a number that refers to the amount of global warming caused by a substance
The GWP is the ratio of the warming caused by a substance to the warming caused by a similar mass of carbon dioxide. Thus, the GWP of CO2 is defined to be 1.0 . CFC-12 has a GWP of 8,500, while CFC-11 has a GWP of 5,000. Various HCFCs and HFCs have GWPs ranging from 93 to 12,100. Water, a substitute in numerous end-uses, has a GWP of 0. A table of all ozone-depleting substances shows their ODPs, GWPs, and CAS numbers, and another table shows the GWPs for many non-ozone-depleting substances.

The EPA is a govt agency.
They must have a scientist or 2 on the payroll.
It states global warming in the above n does not state worldwide none of the above r not being produced by humans.
Therefore emissions r produced n hence contributing to the greenhouse effect.
    Furthermore global warming is caused.

  16. Yeah more bad science to correct you still saying a degree in biology ? Just checking cause well that's kinda biology related again and it's oh so wrong again .

36% of global methane production is due to natural causes including wetlands oceans and termites.

64% is related to human activity such as landfills livestock and fossil fuel production and usage so that's roughly 2-1 for humanity yay us.
Now 33% of that man made gas is from fossil fuels which is rather a lot roughly 110million tonnes a year.
So not sure that's really all that insignificant compared to those pesky aquatic life forms damn them getting planet all methane filled and stuff .

  17. How are you going from ch4 to fossil fuels two different things

Most methane is produced in the ocean by organisms that are starving by not having enough oxygen

Methane (CH4) is the second most prevalent greenhouse gas emitted in the United States from human activities. In 2013, CH4 accounted for about 10% of all U.S. greenhouse gas emissions from human activities. Methane is emitted by natural sources such as wetlands, as well as human activities such as leakage from natural gas systems and the raising of livestock. Natural processes in soil and chemical reactions in the atmosphere help remove CH4 from the atmosphere.

  18. Arnold Schwarzenegger. He's more American than Chinese food

  19. So according to the EPA methane is only 10% produce by humans so to me that is insanities my to the methane produced by the ocean and marine mammals in nature

Which still has no scientific proof that global warming is happening at the rate the government wants you to believe
