There's not a larger political base than the Christian Right in the United States, it's entirely relevant on a political thread. And Christians should never be afraid to speak of their faith.
Yep, from what I Remember policies about how public schools would be taken away taxes would be cut by a large amount, don't get me wrong there's more but the only posts you've described are problems with the current government not libertarian. Of course the libertarian party will fix everything with a flick of their magic wand? Btw what the hell are you going on about free speech freedom? We don't live in a ****** communist country with censorship on everything.
Libertarianism is great, I considered voting Libertarian on my local ballot in a few races. The only people that dislike Libertarianism are the people who advocate for Big Government to run our lives. You can certainly disagree with certain aspects of it (like myself and marijuana) but the premise of it is outstanding.
I know gay people who don't want gay marriage. It means they have to get married. Statistically it is something that has a good chance of ending in a divorce. But they should have the right to that misery as well. Gay couples want to get married and have kids. The trend with young ladies is to not get married and avoid children at all cost. It's seems like a oddity to me.
Tell me why it's so great, I found most of wake busters thread Unappealing, why the big bad government's got you down?
why do you think I'm talking about religion. I'm a Christian and I am not afraid to talk about it either
Ah you're referring to eliminating the department of education (agency who educates no one) and allowing parents the option to have a say in their child's learning along with them being able to pick which school they want to attend instead of being forced to go to a certain one because of location
Realboy you don't get it. With Libertarianism, the problems IS and ARE the government. They want to fix these problems by getting the Hell out of our lives and leaving us alone.
Oh god  you guys aren't those type of people are you? Everything is the governments fault blah blah blah. I think I get it too much now,
And this is why big government is bad economically: Liberals demonize businesses, raise their taxes, bury them in new regulations, make it easier to sue them, and harass them with regulatory agencies at every turn. Businesses could lose profits via new taxes, have huge new expenses because of regulations, have projects shut down by the EPA, face huge lawsuits for spurious reasons, be crippled by labor union strikes, and on and on it goes. Then, liberals become puzzled as to why those same businesses aren't creating jobs or are looking to move more of their business overseas.
How's the koolaid taste? Do you have any idea what started the obesity epidemic in America? Ever heard of the USDA and the food pyramid?
If people wish to eat unhealthy isn't it their own choice? I thought free will was the main goal of libertarianism no? How's the koolaid taste? Was that a racist joke? Wakebuster you won't get any better from me unless you bump your thread, because honestly I'm not wasting my time to research something I don't agree with.
A little early to be crying racism I would think. Anyway, the obesity epidemic did not begin until the 1980's I believe, when the US government began telling us how to eat. This was done through the brand new, shiny food pyramid.
FIRST OF ALL BUCKEYE DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT JOKE. WHAT HAPPENED THAT DAY WAS A MASS KILLING OF MANY YOUNG INNOCENT KIDS AND FAMILY.
Yes because the betterment of the standard of living, advancement of electronics, extreme accelerated growth of the fast food industry had absolutely no effect on the obesity rate of children eh? all because of the food pyramid designed to try to stop it. Btw, your statement was odd because do you honestly koolaid has a big difference on the obesity of young kids? It was just a little off you'd start with that. "Crying racism" was a little harsh don't you think? Statement? I could delve into whole new topic if you want to go there.
I honestly have no idea what the hell you're talking about. What does my response to buckeye have anything to do with what you're saying?
