Perspective of Pride

  1. He's right, peace out idiots and geniuses 

  2. It's hard to believe that gay Americans achieved full constitutional personhood just five years after corporations did.

  3. Well if we want to talk about pride.....Chicano pride!!! Si se puede!

  4. Ok, question is how does a gay person know they are gay? I mean this on a serious note, all animals are hard wired to reproduce with the opposite sex, now how can we be sure being homosexual is natural.

If you can answer how being homosexual is natural then I'd support it but I've seen a valid point. It's always "the heart wants, what the heat wants" which isn't really an answer because the unconscious brain is hardwired for inappropriate things I can't say in the game.

Thing I'm wrong? Well psychologist Sigmund Freud states all that in his works on the unconscious brain. That we are always looking to reproduce, by saying this homosexuals can not reproduce. So there for I think it's a disorder.

  5. Why should anyone be proud to be gay white black straight or anything in between?

None of those statuses are achieved and should be invalid in almost any argument.

  6. Homosexuality isn't natural at all ^. They can't reproduce but gayness is not a gene so gays will always exist. Gay people aren't bad but they are unnatural. Its the same thing as being attracted to your mother , just not meant to be

  7. People always going to defend what they are. I support straight white males in most debates, that's just how it is. If I were a lesbian black woman then things would be different. People think they're better because humans are naturally egotistioc and judgemental towards others

  8. Actually that's another part of psychosexual psychology, that's were the terms Mommas boy and Daddy's girl came from. It's an old term that was used for an insult for those attracted to their parents.

  9. Fraud actually said that we were all born bisexual and that our orientation is decided by our relationships we form for our first 5 years

  10. But very few contemporaries and neo-Freudians actually agreed with him

  11. That was added to Freudian psychology, wasn't by him. He stated we are driven by our sexual drives. He explained sexuality in children by the bond in which they have with their parents. Explaining the momma boys and daddy's girl statement.

  12. To support your statement on that, it would show that a homosexual parent would have a negative impact on their child's life. Many homosexuals have straight parents so were did the kid get this sexual desire? To further that it wasn't taught or demonstrated so it isn't an attribute.

  13. I have no problem with homosexuals just I wish we could find another word or term because it sounds demeaning and as an insult to say.

  14. I don't remember reading that, I could have swore he said we were born bisexual and were molded through our relationships during early childhood development phases. Males have the need to take over for their father and impose themselves on their mother but if that situation doesn't occur for them, then it could have an effect on sexuality

  15. But I will post on topic. I don't think sexual preference should be something we go around bragging about. Who cares what you prefer. I have a friend that likes talking about the kinds of girls he prefers to view on the Internet, but I don't think he needs to have a parade over it

  16. My brother is homosexual and he is the only one in my family that is gay.

I also have had a few friends with bisexual and gay parents, foster parents who are straight.

So I question the truth of that study and feel like it is one that would need further research when it comes to sexual orientation.

  17. True, but the prospective I am talking about in this post is not a point of what you are.

    It's where you stand.

Being oppressed will create a well perceived pride.

Gays, Blacks, and woman fall into this category.

Being the oppressors will have a negative perception.

straight, whites, and males fall into this category.

It's not so much what you are, it's where you stand.

Despite your views on if being gay is right or wrong, I am simply pointing out why it is more acceptable in the public's eyes to see people gloat and carry on about Gay Pride over that of Straight pride.

This isn't to gauge what is write it wrong. This is meant to let people know the Philosophy of perception.

  18.
  19. Edited out: I actually don't want this info in forums.

  20. Someone shouldn't be proud because they're straight, gay, white, black, etc. Those are not accomplishments and shouldn't warrant pride. You should be comfortable with who you are, but, again, it shouldn't be something to parade over. You can be proud that the USA has allowed legal equality, sure, but that should be cause for a parade either.

Also, the world doesn't have an overpopulation problem. Last the internet told me, the world's population can fit in Texas. Uneven resource distribution would be more likely.

    You're part of the problem.
