Perspective of Pride

  1. Money money money,

  2. I don't see the straight pride being viewed as "Oppressive" as a fair and just description. If someone is trying to change your way of life you are going to defend it. And yes this does change the straight population's way of life because they are forced to accept people who's sexual preference goes against their own personal belief. I personally don't care if you're homosexual or not, just don't force me to accept something that's against my religion. I think many "Straights" are ok with homosexuals as long as it isn't enacted towards them.

  3. Oh good the bigots are here to spread some hate .

  4. XD I am biologically female. Genderfluid at the most. :) Either one is fine.

  5. Sushi, gays being able to marry now isn't gonna make or force anyone to accept them.

  6. Gay marriage is not morally right and should not be legal. Plain and simple. I'm glad my country does not have it.

  7. Sushi, I am not saying that straight people as a whole are the oppressors.

  8. I think you missed Sushi's point as much as he missed my point.

  9. Morals are a matter of perspective.

Some would say it is morally wrong to deny any bond of love.

  10. Hate to be the one to say it, but its an unnatural bond of love, we were made to procreate with our opposites not our similars. So even biologically it is in a way denied.

  11. In nature, there are creatures, dolphins being the most known ones, that indulge in homosexuality.

What is "natural" and if that should be judged by morality is all a relative perspective.

    Plastic is not natural.
    Your phone is not natural.

Most institutions of man are not natural.

Love, hate, fear, emotions; all are natural.

Where I am going with this; many things we do day in and day out can be considered natural or unnatural depending on your perspective and how far you are willing to define that definition.

Just as you say being Gay or being a Lesbian is not natural, one can say it is not natural for one living being to deny another living being from fully expressing themselves in the same right as their neighbor.

In that the only natural thing I can say of your response, sushi, is that it is still just your perspective. Just as you would not want someone's opposing views to hinder your lifestyle and choices, do you feel you have to right to hinder theirs?

  12. Sushi, I see what you did there

  13. Lol are you crazy ? it is not a perspective it is simply a fact it is not natural for our species to sleep with the same sex. If it was so natural don't you think that same sex relations would be able to produce offspring ? For trust me no matter how are you try it will not happen the human body is not designed in such a way. It is most certainly unnatural for our species..last time I checked there was no womb in the ass Make of that as you will

  14. Implying it needs to be natural in our species, last time I checked we need the gays to slow the population growth so we don't get over populated like it is.

Also homosexuality does need to be able to produce offspring to be natural, almost every species o earth has homosexuals and it's quite normal.

  15. Religion needs to be revamped. Its outdated. People follow religions that date back thousands of years but only the parts that they agree with.

For example: Catholics are not allowed to eat shellfish, eat or even Touch pigs, they cannot get divorced, they cannot wear two garments that are of different kinds of materials at the same time.

Those are just some examples. I'm sure every Catholic has done one of these and if not, they have done one thing that I have not listed. So why the hell does this one thing bother you Catholic so much? Even pope francis is okay with homosexuals, aren't you supposed to follow The Church?

I end my argument there. LGBT people have just as many rights as you. for anyone to oppress them is to create an act of violence against humanity.

  16. Very interesting read, Rusted, I never asked me the question about the origin of those Prides.

To me this seemed pretty obvious as being a means of a minority (oppressed or not) to fight for equal rights in today's society. You could probably even add feminist movements fighting for their rights from the 70s on to those prides.

To all those idiots mixing up religion and civil rights, same gender marriage has nothing to do with the religious marriage. Every church makes its own rules about its form of marriage and as long as there is a division between state and church, it won't depend or determine civil marriage. This of course won't be valid in a religious state where religious law is the rule.

If you want a religious marriage, you stick to the rules of that religion. No gay movement ever was trying to change that.

And about what's natural or not...
You'd be surprised what can be found in nature.

  17. Sin is sin. Everyone does it. We all acknowledge it. No sin is greater than the other. We aren't allowed to cast judgement blah blah. But, God also knows we aren't perfect and we make mistakes.

Also, the pope is for Catholics, I believe. He has no authority in my denomination.

  18. To be fair Jews Muslims Christians all believe generally in the same thing just how some stuff has happened

  19. You're not the only person who is alive, y'know, some people the pope is the head. I did forget to add in Catholic and I will now but it is just an example.

  20. No need to be all tense. Was just explaining something to you.
