Josh trudged through the old ruins of quarries and abandoned fishing ports. Oceania, a name which brings so much joy to fishermen and traders alike, the once lively and bustling vistas for merchants, the city with everblue waters. As Josh stares into the distance, what was once the awe-inspiring town of Oceania, was a mangled heap of smoke and fire. Several dryads fly nimbly around, using their ability to sprout and destroy building with their roots and vines. Trees were overflowing, and it seems like Oceania is being heisted by these tree spirits. Josh felt his warrior instincts rear up, and look up to see a flying creature soar past him, landing several yards in front of him. 'This one's mine.' Josh grinned to himself as he activated Bloodlust. His eyes turned a ruby red, and his vision widened. He felt his senses go on overload as his hearing and scent increases by tenfold. 'A healer..' Josh licked his lips. 'This is gonna be fun.'
OOC Just realized Josh was in a forest. So add this before the post above. BIC 'Darn that stupid teleportation spell.' Josh looked around him. He was in the very heart of Earthdom. To walk out of this would take hours, maybe days. He realized that he might even meet high level monsters which he knew he was no match for. He knew he had to try teleportation again. Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes and muttered the charm, or what he remembered of the charm. He vanished, leaving behind nothing except for a pair of footprints in the dirt.
Soul landed swiftly, and broke into a run as soon as his feet touched ground. Oceania is in serious distraught and Soul hopes that he could arrive in time to help. Without warning, a being leapt out from behind with a feral cry, eyes red with battle hunger. Soul just had time to cast his Shield spell before he was knocked back by the force of their collision. Soul landed several feet away, readying himself with a horse stance as he looked up and faced his adversary. His enemy looked just like himself, a wanderer by the name of Josh. Looking at the twin swords in his hands, and the huge blade he had tucked behind him, Soul guessed that he must be a warrior class. 'Hey, wha-' Soul started to speak into his mic, but was cut off when his enemy lunged again. But this time, Soul was ready. Soul crystalised his arm, blocking the attack and whipped out his trusty scimitar, forcing his enemy to the ground. 'Checkmate.'
Josh pleaded with Soul to let him go. Soul answered to him,"I am a healer. However, I have special powers. I have decided to let you go, but one false move and you're dead." Josh got up and started rubbing his wrists. Many others did not know what this meant, but Soul knew. It was a self-destruct spell. If Josh goes through 3 more rubs, everything in a 100 Mile Radius will die. Suddenly a voice was inside of Soul's head. It said to him,"You know what to do........" Unfortunately Soul Kazma did. He quickly grabbed Josh and used a binding spell. Not a moment to late. Just as Soul breathed a sigh a relief, Josh had 1 more trick up his sleeve. He concentrated in his mind... and used a dangerously powerful spell. This spell blew off Soul's arms but in return, Josh's body was crippled. Josh laughed weakly."Don't underestimate me..... You can't heal yourself without arms." Soul said,"I still have both my legs don't I." Josh's eyes were opened wide."Ohhhh Crapp!!!!" His body disintegrated, and Soul needed help quickly. If the arms were left untreated he would die of either infection or blood loss.
Selena arced over the huge troll, viciously lashing out with her katana before landing gracefully. Without wasting a moment, she spun, throwing both her katanas at the troll. The blade embedded itself in the trolls heart just as its head dropped to the ground. Troll has been slain! Quest complete! Selena chuckled as her character leveled up. Who says healers can't fight? She waited for her character to be awarded the skill point upon leveling up. But a resounding clash blades in the distance caught her attention and Selena decided to check it out.
Derek and Selena both liked each other lots at first sight and knew soon they would become the best of friends. But they were at tournament and it was impossible to forfeit with millions watching. Derek and Selena looked at each other wickedly giving a sign where they knew they would both team up, and soon the tournament bell rang. The games started. Selena started to chant but stopped when she saw Derek give the sign of teamwork. So they fought, back to back ferociously against all other soloers until there was only one group of three left. They both fought ferociously until the team of three were battered and one fainted. If someone fainted it meant automatic disqualification to the team, for the first sign of defeat would be death, injures, or fainting.
This is it. The final showdown. Death (aka Derek) knew he had to win. There is too much at stake. The honor, the fame, and ultimately the prize money. 5 000 000 gold is just too much to give up. Thinking of the wristblade upgrade he always wanted, of the applause and recognition he would get from the other players, Death licked his lips with anticipation. Selena is but just a pawn, a mere stepping stone. He could achieve so much more without her dragging him down. Love, Death thought with disgust, is nothing. Admittedly, he had enjoyed the times he had with Selena, but that was when he was a newb. Now, with his great aspirations and abilities, he needed to be on his own to become the best. He looked at Selena, and gave her a wink. Selena smiled, but her eyes gave her away. She was worried, and nervous. Death grinned cunningly, as he activated Twilight and faded into the shadows. His skin turned a dark shade of purple, as his eyes glowed gold. Assassins work best in the dark, and against an unsuspecting Selena who wouldn't bear to harm him, Death knew this fight was his. He crouched in an offensive stance, as he waited for the sign. The bell rang. It began.
Smasher was on the island contemplating about what what to do next, he thought he needed to fight monsters, gain xp, and learn the See Through spell to learn if any more of his men were traitors. 5 Hours Later (three years gametime) He had slaughtered all but two of his men, as all were traitors. It was him Mickey of Mouse, and Snorri Uffgaurd, a Mage, an assassin, and a fighter. Mickey had taken over as the crafter, and the other two were hunters. They were halfway across the Ever Mist to Earthdom. All they knew was that the ship was gone, the food was low, and that only one of the three would come out alive, unless their leader managed to get more well-rounded. That's when they saw the masts of ships on the horizon. It was Cheese! That little gnome guy was back!!! Smasher was pleased to see that Cheese managed to get the fish in his pants and followed the map to Banana Turtle Swamp. "Hows it been?" Asked the little elf when he saw Smasher.
Selena lunged. But Death was just too fast in the dark. He easily dodged Selena's clumsy attempt to land her hits. Relentlessly, Selena continued her assault, trying to aim for Death's neck and chest as he faded in and out of the darkness. Selena furiously tried to blink back tears as she sparred with Death. The times they spent adventuring together, the times they spent counting stars, the merry memories they had with each other, did they all meant nothing to Death? Looking at Death now, she could barely recognize him. Filled with so much greed, Death has changed. He was not the caring gentleman she once admired. A gleam of blades in the darkness warned Selena just in time for her to dodge the dagger that hurled to wards her. She realized Death is wearing her down, and decided that she had to end this before she gets too weak. She cast her Shield spell, and activated Clairvoyance, enabling her increased senses. Wielding her katanas with new refound confidence, Selena dashed towards Death. Death saw his opportunity, and flicked out his wristblade as he appeared behind Selena with his blade at her neck, attempting to finish her with Cutthroat. Selena hit Death with a Parry just as he was about to finish her off, knocking him back and leaving him dazed. With blinding speed, Selena whirled around Death, slashing him across his chest as she wrapped both her legs around his head. Executing a perfect backflip, she sent Death flying towards the wall, hurtling her katana at him. The blade hit him right between the eyes. Selena has slain Death.
