I can tell you how I remember the events around the CF negotiations - I did not participate in actual talks between Twicc and H-A-R-R-I-E-R so I will only speak about things I know. Notion of mutual CF has been brought up to LOS by YAFI. They offered to take upon themselves a role of mediator. Mediators assume a role of the voice of reason between two entrenched in conflict parties and can bridge otherwise insurmountable gap. At the time this offer was made we were already warring for nearly 7 months. We warred with changing fortunes on both sides. Those of you with the OSW experience can relate to that, others can only imagine situation when you are attached to your phone almost all your active time. You sleep lightly ready to pin yourself in the middle of the night listening to pm alert for potential incoming strips. You stay awake in weird hours just to be available to clear that strip. It is tough to do that well for a week, never mind 7 months. Our lives, our real life friends and families were on hold. Relationships suffered and do not forget effective warring ain't cheap. Some of us were tired. When YAFI offered mediation, it was received with mixed emotions, but we decided to roll with that and see what happens. Next thing I know was - we got an agreement - mutual CF. Both sides walk away. Nobody blinked, nobody caved in - just walk away. Here comes side note for all of you that think LOS asked for CF and was supposed to disband clans or drop tags. Whoever feeds you or leads you to believe, that that was the arrangement is a liar. Demand the proof of such a claim or hold liar in contempt. After the news of agreement to mutually CF and walk away all involved in war clans were holding a votes. We had a mixed crowd. Many wanted the war to end. Prospect of being there for their families, chance to amend relationships was very real. We have lives beyond KaW you know. For all who made for so long, walking away in the middle of war was unthinkable. So the mutual CF was very tempting option indeed. There were others - quite many that did not want CF and wanted to carry on. Majority ruled, and despite many of LOS wanting to continue, we, as a family agreed to mutual CF. During these negotiations option to join YAFI was discussed. I will only say that after discussing it among each other it was concluded that we liked the option, and we voted to join YAFI. This vote was completely independent from mediation and had no bearing on YAFI involvement as mediating party. Or otherwise, YAFI mediation had no strings attached. Shortly after mutual CF was announced and vote what to do next was counted - we started packing getting ready to move. During that move New Age had change of heart and broke CF that they agreed to just the previous day. They jumped Purgatory clan while majority of their members have not completed the move out of LOS. Here another side note: many of you wrongly regard Purgatory being an associate clan of LOS rather than a full member - you are wrong. Purgatory was a full LOS member long before NA stripped Mods. Once decision was made to join YAFI and words of agreements were exchanged between both family councils we were considered YAFI family. NA attack on Purgatory was an attack on YAFI. YAFI essentially were ASKED FOR IT and they delivered. This is WHY and HOW as I remember it. Many call LOS war runners, many wonder why YAFI have decided to merge with LOS. Many look for answers and cannot find them. Maybe, just maybe YAFI has seen what many are blind to. Maybe they knew better. Maybe they regarded ones that were able to war for 7 months straight as worthy of their membership and trust. Sure there is an attrition during long OSW. But the ones left standing have proven themselves. That goes for both sides. New Age players that still are in it deserve recognition. Trolling statless alts that know only how to mock - you will never get it. Or maybe you do get it but wish you were a part of something epic, but are jealous that you are not, so you find solace in mockery. LOS - Grom my clan whom I had privilege to lead ain't dead. It become YA__GROM__FI. It stays empty for now, as we are warring from another clan. But Grom members fly banner that clearly tells you who is whooping your ass. Just take a look. We are in your news. We are not runners, we are the ones hitting you now, as we were nearly 9 months ago. So is Purgatory, Purge, War Piggies, Rise of Honor and a sole member of Blood Orchid. We are not hiding under YAFI skirt, we are the ones holding whip.

And after 137 p on this thread and some people still trying to analyze/rationalize/convince others who started this thing? ...the only one that would care at this point is the loosing side, trying to garner sympathy and make themselves out to be the victims, typical lame ass noob tactics. All your doing by crying about the other side starting this is exposing your butt pain to the world which seems to be monumental. Shut the **** up already and start reporting strips. Sure, we are happy it was successful, but it sure felt sad to hear that NA did not bother about him both before and after the strip. NA has labelled their top guys (with allies) with a ghost emoji, but refuse to label this mini bank of muahaha with more than 2T with the same ghost emoji. While it does made it easier for us to identify who has big allies, it also made it easier for us to know who with lots of allies aren't checked constantly by NA :lol: :lol: :lol:
