It's a panic move because no one expects to open KaW with their gold out and mass inc steals. In a panic, they decide to hit quests because it's a quick, easy way to pin and stop the inc steals. It's also a long shot to catch any inc steals while panic pinned on quests. Not sure if anyone can get a steal through. So pretty sure you wouldn't catch outside banks like that. It's not really that complicated. But u are special, u've yet to figure it out. Pinning on quests isn't the fastest - u lose less troops per hit, there's no repeat button. While Mick is right about the fact that those who know how to strip won't be fooled by it, questing is a way of playing dead, assuming the strippers are nubs. And there's enough nubs in Kaw. Idd (nubs) accounts were caught that way before they 'officially' joined. It's all relevant to the situation which other side may not be aware of.
Mickey, you can't even add strip totals correctly. Anyone can estimate gold losses based on bar counts. There's a chart that lists the percentages. But it's only an estimate. If they bank in bars or pots and leave you crumbs out to steal, you have no clue how much was lost. Most people try to self pin when they catch a strip, either by questing or hitting the eb.
