  1. I would say none of those participants needed to opt in to hit the targets they already had.

Its completely true I wouldnt jump into a random OSW no, I am happy to respect those boundaries. I am going to hit an event battlelist full of participants though.

I think for me I would respect the behaviour if it was consistent too but from what I have observed it is only a subsection of individuals who are exhibiting this behaviour. I dont fear getting hit or stripped later on I merely was curious to hear peoples thoughts and see what the general sentiment was. So far I am enjoying the discussion and arguments for both sides

  2. Those participants have every right to equip and bonus items as everyone else. Ppl in osw opt in to be able to earn these rewards off their enemies.

  3. PvP is always a first priority... Hit and be hit... Simple return hit for hit or turn it into a 1v1 but don't turn PvP down for hte

The name of the game is Kingdoms at War

Just don't get to carried away with the ebs I support them but EB to PvP even if it's EE get out there and hit something. :)

  4. They don't need to opt-in to hit them. BUT why wouldn't they? They can hit the same clans and continue on as they were, or opt-in and in a couple weeks get a free crystal, some gear or whatever their might win for their participation. Yeah they don't have to opt-in but they might as well.

And yes, a lot of big clans have pretty hypocritical players. Sucks don't it? Always been that way. Always will. It's a war game, not a fair game. You don't like how people conduct themselves then you have to be willing to go further then them. They're too big? Then they're the top of the food chain. Suck it up buttercup. Come back later and rectify the wrongdoings when you can adequately deal with that situation. Until then, find the targets not in osw and farm til your heart is content.

  5. Seems like some people assume this pvp event is some sort of "consequences free" pass.

Either pass on hitting them or do it.

  6. Putting it in your banner and posting it on walls is for noobs who really don't want to fight.. Just shut up and hit someone back if they hit you. If you don't like their face then pump a couple crystals into them. Why wait?

  7. Well said

  8. It is much more satisfying to strip someone then to merely pump a couple of crystals into them. Plus if peeps in osw all spy actions are on strips ! Therefore peeps are dealt with in peace times to keep the game a little more cheerful

  9. Is more like an award for them pvping!

Still in osw before this event a lot of osw players will still mark outside hits n strip them sometimes.

A lot of eb clans out there actually the majority so why choose players who are in an osw?

  10. Don't you think that's a little overkill stripping someone because they hit you in pvp event. Get over it. I remember the first time I got inc, yea I was upset, but you get use to it after awhile.

You wouldn't strip anyone if you weren't in a strong alliance. Your strong alliance stripping some random EB fairy who was trying out pvp is a little silly.. Makes you look like you can't handle your own fight. I handle mines and always have a side piece that my clan rarely knows about

  11. Good points Monster Snorey.

It's a control mechanism to 'drive the narrative'

(Ie: 'my way or the highway.')

Some people just don't get it - and they are easy to spot because they are the unwashed masses.

  12. Dear OP, i find amusing that in first post you say it bothers you and after a few good answers, you seem to contradict yourself. But you're entitled to change your opinion.

I've got a good amount of pm's about this subject, calling people who do what you state, and calling them hypocrite warriors, to summarize all the "feedback" i've got.

Normally people wouldn't hit a member of a clan in OSW, unless you want to join the party.

"If they dont want to be hit they shouldnt opt in!!!!"

They don't mind being hit, otherwise they wouldnt be in a clan that embraces OSW. The fact that "holyday warrior" kingdoms hit them just because there's a reward at the end, other than gold, it's the thing that bothers them. They opted in because they have valid targets in their opponets to earn the reward. The fact that they are in OSW shouldnt't remove them from getting the rewards as everybody else.

"But Berd...it's hard to reach the top 1000 if you go the PvE path, only the HTE clans will be at the top (insert noob rage emoji)"

I agree, but if you opt in, you can earn both path rewards, not 2 of the same item, but nonetheless, you can earn things from ebs an from opted in kingdoms. PvE path only kingdoms dont.

The bad part of this "easy path" it's that you will get income, devs didn't give Apherim that skill or i'm misinformed, and your actions will have repercussions.

"ok i understand...but the orange colour is awesome and everyone on my battle list is in osw!!!"

Agreed orange is awesome. Just press the refresh button till you get a target that isnt in osw.

"Berd you are being biased because you are in osw!!! How dare you to post my thread???"

Yes i am, but ill explain why.

Imagine you are in osw. You expect your opponent to hit you (or pretend to), seeing a random guy doing their job is annoying, at least for. That's why i didnt opt in.

Tracking, since you adressed strips. Tracking takes a lot of effort, clans spend a lot of time doing this to strip someone, to find those 30 minutes per day that someone isnt pinned. They raise funds, billions or trillions. Clan mates help with that, everybody knows they need to be on at that time for the strip to be successful or at least to do the maximum damage possible in such a short window.

There comes a "Orange Holyday Warrior" kingdom and pins it....

"Not my fault...i want shiny new equip and banner!!!! The kingdom will be open again soon lel" (sorry for the lel but i think thats swag or something these days).

Yes it will be up again in a few minutes, minutes that can help the clan to find out and alert him. Hundreds of bars, weeks\months of tracking ruined.....

To end my post ill just say this...

You "orange not in OSW" (and by this i mean the ones bothered with their name on wall for future strip etc), should think a little bit before going nuts on a day-to-day PvP kingdom. You do this for the reward or for the 15 days of orange crazyness before going back to smashing apherium etc. They do this all day all night, that's their way to enjoy kaw.

TL DR - read the entire post dont be lazy, you might learn something

P.S. - You rip what you sow (in this case youll earn shiny new equip, inferno aqua, a horn perhaps....and you'll lose all your allies and both bars for some time once the OSW of that player ends.

    Berd Out Happy Kawing :p

  13. Too funny !! So your saying before big alliances there was no stripping ?  because you would be wrong  and as for stripping only because in alliance also wrong I have stripped many of times when not in an alliance.

Also to answer your other question no stripping isn't an overkill never has been never will be 

  14. Hmm a lot to think over in your answer, I havent quoted the whole thing just to save space. You are right I am being swayed by the arguments in the thread so my opinion is changing. Its the reason I put this thread out there to see what people thought and evolve my viewpoint to see if I was convinced what I thought was correct.

  15. I agree.

Theres a few exceptions but generally it doesn't help any of us if we deter players from participating. Today its just the event, tomorrow maybe osw.

For hitting those in osw, event or not, a pvp event still requires a little common sense. If you want to keep it as a friendly event then avoid those clans.
Theres no rule saying they have to play by your reasonings.

    Either hit them or dont.

  16. Actually that's not what I'm saying.. I know there has always been stripping. Your condescending reply only reinforces my point. You think you are above the event and above inc

You are just a regular player just like everyone else. You're not special just because you are in an OSW alliance.. Stripping is cool but crying over hits is not.. Sorry ️

  17. @ dirtylarry's comment about stripping over pvp event hits.

I personally had 20t out and was losing 60b per hit minimum during last pvp event. I can see stripping certain individuals over a few simple hits. Hell I've seen many ppl stripped for much less.

  18. That's a little different and worthy of a heavy response

Just the banners and wall posts I see seem like people trying to deter others from hitting.. And a bit like whining

  19. Oh of course. I haven't perused many banners or walls but I can only imagine.

Everyone on KaW is a badass. Until they start taking inc

  20. I avoid hitting people in osw for one reason and one reason only. I don't want to be destroyed when they're done with their current osw. I am enjoying hitting off bl, in fact doing better than what eb path is paying, but if I see someone who's in an alliance at war, I just go to the next guy. It's all about respecting other people's prerogatives.
