OSW and the Comanche Indians: A Proposed Reform

  1. Medicine, he was not blaming, discriminating, or other wise bashing on the Comanche. He was compairing their style of fighting to that of modern KaW OSW. That is all.

Another great idea Philo, props. You have my support. I would love to see my enemies buildings disappear.

  2. What about people that are stripped trillions?

Correct me If I read this wrong but

Lets say i Did a 30T Strip on someone. For every 175 bil they randomly drop a building

Eventually if I stripped them about 22.5T they would loose all buildings and be DTW to be able to get the other 8T.All they would need to do is wake up and build Buildings up with the remaining amount of Gold.

  3. Personally, to reduce the ammount of rage quitters, and/or disinterested players, the penalty for 1000 hits should be a downgrade of a building, not including castle. It would still be a substantial loss, and wouldnt discourage activity.

  4. I like it

  5. @Frank

He clearly labeled them as thieves, without any context. Thats stereotyping. When I see that directed at the First Nations its my duty to speak up.

Thief has a negative conotation to it. Fact is they werent thieves under their belief system. The Law of Blood demanded that all be taken from an enemy.

  6. It is far too easy to get a 1000 hits. My losses attest to that. High profile targets in osw get 500-1000 inc a day. They'd be losing 1 building a day. Raise the number. It's far far too low. Maybe 10,000?

  7. Not sure if this has been said, but instead of barren land after the building has been destroyed, the remains of the building stay and you get to rebuild for cheaper. I.e. 50bil instead of 175bil

  8. ^i think that idea is good, I support something that wouldn't completely destroy the building, or make it harder to.

  9. If you put it this way, inactives will be forever gone from this game...

  10. I didn't want to comment on this thread but prof but I completely disagree with u when u say yafi's were a nobody before this recent war. It's points to a fact that u are a new player and not aware of yafi history. I'm not gone waste my time here but I wonder if u remember or even around during the make up and break of sun alliances... That's just one example...
    Get ur facts right.

  11. History lesson...

  12. I remember Alliance of the SUN creation. I thought it was unstoppable. However, I wasn't here for when it fell apart

  13. Medicine - Yet you agree they took part in activities that would be described as theft? Calling a group of people theives isn't a negative stereotype. The facts of the matter are, they went into settlements and took items of value, wether or not it was justified of right in the mind of the OP is aside the point. They stole, end of story. Arguing that Philosopher is labeling the Comanche as theives because he has a dislike for them is not something that belongs on this thread. If you really want to be sure the Comanche are conveyed properly in this game, make a seperate thread explaining their history is the way you see fit.

  14. Devil, it was humiliating. I was disapointed.

  15. Frank do you need something to do besides following meds around kaw and contradicting everything he says? Allow me to keep you occupied for a few days....

  16. The sun alliance was about a yr ago u wernt in it so u have no idea what happened also osw is out of system war for a reason... If this idea happens I will farm every single person who posted support on this thread until they lose all buildings... This is really a terrible idea... All I could see is ppl running to their ebs so they dont lose buildings

  17. I agree somewhat. But 1,000 losses is just too few IMO. Clans could focus-fire on one kingdom and cause them to lose several buildings per day. 5,000 losses seems more sensical to me. Or anywhere in that range.

  18. @frank
This is the proper place for my rebuttals. Simply because the history of the First Nations was brought up in a fashion I found disrespectful in ops post, then here is where I make my thoughts known.

Words can be poisonous without proper context or education. If my son tells me he read that Comanche warriors were thieves and not patroits to their people, then Id tell him to stop listening to fools that spew distorted truths.

Thus with my points on this thread Im simply providing an alternative view of this particular issue.

  19. Lungsta... I've been here nearly two years bud.
